Olga is an actress who has become a household name in recent years. One day, she received a letter from a guy named Jack, which read:

"Dear lady, I had the pleasure of watching your wonderful performance of'Angel of Vengeance 'last night, and I think we all have a friend named Nancy Taylor who lives in Chicago. An article about her is about to appear in the newspapers. If you are also interested in talking about this, I can stop by anytime."

After reading the letter, Olga's face turned pale. She immediately asked the maid to call her agent Danny. Danny read the letter and asked in confusion, "Who is this Nancy Taylor?"

"A girl whose life is better than death." Olga's voice had bitterness and exhaustion, which seemed to have soaked her bitterness for the past 30 years. "A girl who died before my new life."

Danny exclaimed in surprise: "Ah! Then it's... you! Is this extortion?"

Olga nodded and said that this guy named Jacques was quite proficient in the business of blackmailing women for a living. Once this person does what he threatened to do, Olga is doomed and her husband's future in parliament is ruined. As far as she can see, there are only two options: one is to give money, but that means endless; the other is to make him disappear completely...

Olga paused and continued: "Actually, I didn't do anything heinous. I was just a starving orphan at the time, I just shot a damn person..."

Danny thought for a while and said with some uncertainty, "Can we find the handle on this Jacques?"

Olga sighed: "Unlikely. He's a coward and doesn't dare to do bad things." Her words seemed to inspire herself, "Coward! I think we can take advantage of this. We can't be too direct, let's find a woman to deal with him... By the way, what's the name of the girl who wants to be my stand-in? Is it Ryan? It's the one with hair that looks like me!"

"Her hair is pretty good!" Danny admitted reluctantly, his eyes fixed on Olga's golden curls, "But nothing else, I'll fire her next week."

"No!" she made a gesture of disapproval and said, "If all goes well, I'm afraid you'll have to sign a contract with her to be my stand-in."

Olga ignored Danny's surprised expression and continued: "If Jacques is really a coward, this will be done. I won't tell you the details, I want you to help me find that girl named Ryan and tell her I want to have dinner with her tomorrow night. Also I want some good wine that will make people pass out for an hour or two, but will be fine the next day."

Danny nodded and left. Then, Olga called the maid, dictated a reply, and asked the maid to write it and send it.

Soon, Jacques received a reply, he opened the letter proudly, and saw that it read: "Dear sir, I can't remember the lady you mentioned, but I have met so many people, maybe I really remember. I'm always happy to help my colleagues, and if you visit at 9 tonight, I'll be waiting at home."

Jack was overjoyed when he read it. What a brilliantly written letter! The other party did not admit anything, but was still willing to receive him. The gold mine development was successful!

At 9 p.m., Jacques stood outside Olga's apartment on time and rang the doorbell, but no one answered, only to realize that the door was open. He pushed open the door, passed the aisle, and walked into a room. On the table in the room was a note that read: "Please wait for me to come back - Olga."

At this point, the room was very silent, making Jacques feel a little eerie, as if he wasn't alone in the house. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and started pacing non-stop.

Suddenly, he stopped and let out a low cry. Under the black curtain, a hand stretched out! He bent down and touched it, cold and cold - the dead man's hand.

Jacques screamed and opened the curtains, only to see a woman lying on her back, one hand outstretched and the other under her, her golden hair tousled around her neck.

It's Olga! Jacques reached for her cold wrist with trembling fingers, no pulse. She is dead!

Suddenly, Jack noticed that a circle of red lines was half-hidden in her hair. He pulled carefully, and the woman's head moved with his movements, and he saw a terrifying purple face. He shouted and stepped back, and although the face was deformed, he could see that it was not suicide, but murder. This woman was strangled! And most importantly, she is not Olga!

Just then, Jack heard a noise behind him. He turned his head and saw a frightened maid curled up in the corner. Her eyes were full of fear, and her face was as white as the hat and apron she was wearing. She shouted, "Oh God, you killed her!"

Jacques was stunned and said, "No, no, she was already dead when I saw her."

The maid shook her head and said, "I saw you kill her! You pulled that thread and strangled her to death. I heard her cry!"

The sweat on Jack's forehead was even worse. He quickly recalled his behavior just now. The maid must have come in when he was pulling the thread. The maid saw the woman's head moving and heard him. His cry, thought it was from the woman.

Jack looked at the maid in despair. Next, the stupid maid would definitely tell the police that she saw the murder happen, what a terrible and bad situation it was! No, there must be some trick here! He looked at the maid carefully, and suddenly said, "You know that's not your mistress."

The maid shouted: "Of course not, that's some of her actor friends. If you see them fighting tonight, you should call her an opponent!"

This is a trap! He suddenly understood: "Where did your mistress go?"

The maid said, "She went out ten minutes ago."

Really a trap! Jacques thought: He walked into this trap like a little lamb! Olga is such a devil, she took out an opponent and made him a scapegoat at the same time.

At this moment, a rustling sound awakened him from his meditation, and Jake looked up, and the maid was quietly moving towards the door, as if she wanted to escape.

No, you must kill her at all costs! This is the only way. Killing her or not is murder anyway. She has no weapons, and neither does he. At this moment, Jack's heart suddenly beat faster. On the table next to the maid, right next to her, there was a small jeweled pistol, if he could get it first...

I don't know if Jack's eyes caught the maid's attention. He was just about to take the gun when the maid took the gun first and pointed it at Jack's chest. Although her posture of holding the gun was awkward, her finger was already on the trigger, and Jack didn't dare to move.

After a standoff, Jake saw that as long as he didn't attack the maid first, the maid didn't dare to shoot.

It seemed that the only way was to take a risk! He suddenly ran out of the door, and then slammed the door shut. Only the maid's weak, trembling voice came from the door: "Police! Murder!" Fortunately, her voice was so low that no one could hear it.

But Jack was still very scared, he ran desperately, intending to escape this ghost place immediately. He knew that there was a boat heading for some desolate and backward place tonight, and once he got on the boat and went to sea, he would be safe.

At 11 o'clock, Danny's phone rang, and it was Olga. Olga said excitedly: "Can you prepare a contract for Miss Ryan? Don't argue, it's no use arguing, I owe her a favor. Yes, my troubles are solved. Also, if she tells you tomorrow that I'm passionate about spiritualism and lost her soul for a while, don't take it seriously... how? Just put wine in coffee and add some scientific methods. Also, I painted her face with purple oil and put a hemostat on her left arm! Don't understand? I'll explain it to you tomorrow. I don't have time to talk now, I have to take off my maid's hat and apron before she comes back from watching the movie. But she missed a better scene. Danny, I played the best part tonight! Jacques is just a coward, and I am a real actor! "
