Synopsis

The story occurred in Costa Rica where mishaps continues to happen days by days caused by obscure animals. News have gone around and arrived at the United States attracting curiosity of US doctors and scientist. There is something unusual and surprising occurring in this island called Isla Nublar.

Scientists and doctors started to question, others have given their thoughts. Some explained its dinosaurs yet others believe that its inconceivable because they were already extinct billions of years prior. However, it is starting to reoccur, in this island in Costa Rica.

Toward the finish of the book, some people definitely knew what was on that island yet a ton actually didn't. The government didn't want that the word should get out around so they made those people who knew stay in their country for a little while so they can learn about what those things are before word goes around. Yet something was occurring, there may be more animals out in the wilderness and they don't have the foggiest idea what it will do. The animals need are migrating and they don't have the slightest idea what could happen next.

Theme

I think the theme of this book is about survival. People have consistently needed to fight for survival against nature. Technology plays a major part in assisting us with figuring out how people can survive when that time comes. Nature is capricious and that is the greatest challenge we need to confront. We have attempted predicting everything except changes occurs. We think that we can control the outcome when in reality, we can't. We need to adjust in what's going on around us and acknowledge the way that we can't save the entire planet. We don't have that power against nature.

Character Analysis

Dr. Bobbie Carter - a doctor in Costa Rica who helps people who are harmed or sick. Bobbie was thinking about the kid hands. They had been covered with cuts and injuries, in the characteristic pattern of safeguard wounds. She was quite certain he had not kicked the bucket in a construction mishap; he had been attacked and he had held up his hands against his assailant. Where is this island they've come from?

Alice Levin - she saw Tina's drawing of the reptile and explained that it was a dinosaur. She is a technician. 'No,' Alice Levine said, shaking her head. 'Check it out. It's very clear. Large head, long neck, stands on its rear legs, thick tails. It's a dinosaur.'

Powerful Quotes

Let's not mince words. The planet isn't in peril. We are in peril. We lack ability to obliterate the planet- or to save it. Be that as it may, we could have the ability to save ourselves.

I thought this quote was strong in light of the fact that it explained the truth of nature and mankind. We are the annihilation and we are creating the destruction and now its returning to us. People need nature to survive, yet nature doesn't need us. So in the event that we continue to obliterate it, we're just harming ourselves.

The shorthand is the butterfly effect. A butterfly flaps its wings in Pecking and the weather in New York is unique.

I picked this quote since they were discussing the butterfly effect. It's intriguing to ponder how one thing influences what will occur next. There's so many what if's and all this number of inquiries about possibilities outcomes of what might have occurred, this multitude of questions unanswered about nature.

Ending

I thought the ending was fascinating in light of the fact that they finished it in away where the dinosaurs didn't go extinct and they didn't choose to capture them. The ending is only the start of this story. Many people still doesn't have any idea what's happening and what those animals are.
