Before there was man, or animals, before there were gods or bacteria, there was a small tribe filled with the first living beings of earth.

They were simply known as the Mundus. They were put in their place for one reason, and that was to create the world we know today. They were there to create the wind, the rain. They were in charge of generating the good and the bad.

The first Mundus gave himself the name Creator. The rest of the tribe wasn’t born into the world. They weren’t brought into this life by sex, or love, because those things didn’t exist. They were simply brought into this world by a need or a want. Whatever Creator wanted in his world, when he needed something that wasn't there, he created a child for it. By giving an individual Mundus a name, that being would grow knowing only one emotion, having only one fixation and that was living only as its name.

As soon as the names were in place, the Mundus lifestyle changed forever. Emotions evolved. Feelings were becoming a reality for a population that didn’t know such things ever existed. Among the many, Creator raised a Happy, a Disaster, a Brother, and a Mother. Creator began to develop the lifestyle, and the foundation for human life that would go on for centuries and millenniums.

Creator grew to be a power hungry being, continuing to make new creations, never thinking about the possibility of any consequences. In the latter years of his life, Creator wanted three more children to add color to the world. Love, Disappointment, and Murder.

Murder, torn by his own name, began lashing out at his brothers. He began killing any Mundus that he could find. Creator, seeing that he finally made a mistake, constructed one more child. He named him Separate. With this new power, Creator, with the help of Separate, told all Mundus to leave at once and never return to the tribe. That was the final time all the Mundus were together.

However, because Disappointment was put on Earth to only fail his father, he disregarded his wishes and stayed. Love, who didn’t want to leave any loved ones behind, decided it was best to stay back with Disappointment.

On the final night of their lives, Disappointment and Love visited Creator, only to find Murder standing over his dead body. Murder looked into the eyes of his brother and sister and feeling nothing but anger towards them, said, “I will never be sorry.” Then he killed them.

Before Creator was killed, he began to see what he his greed was doing to the world. Creator knew that he might never be able to undo his destructive decisions. But before he died, as he lay bleeding on the ground, he created the last three children. Sun, in order to give life, the light needed to survive the darkness and the evil that he had so foolishly created. Moon, created only to watch over all his children when Sun is sleeping. And finally, fearing that human life would become just as selfish, and vicious as his Mundus, he created Eclipse. Much like the Mundus, Creator feared that the Sun and Moon would not be able to coexist in the sky for very long. Eclipse was the solution. Eclipse was a battle between the two brothers, Sun and Moon, where they would not only kill themselves, but also destroy all of humanity in their war. If nothing were right in the world, if there were no hope for humanity, human civilization would be expunged.
