A Sonnet of Love's First Sight
Enter My Sphere with No Fear
Love's first pull comes when oblique light glances
a spirit upon Jacob’s ladders tier,
whose heart, lighter than Maat’s feather dances,
whispering ‘enter my sphere with no fear’.
<>
Love's first flash germinates a primal seed
that holds paradise, an awaited bliss.
Love’s fruits and nectar are needed to feed
vibrant vital lives in heaven's abyss.
<>
A hand shelters the bright flame from afar
as soft love's low rumbling thunder's power
rips roots and drops fruits. Freed by the jar
they ferment as elixirs of wonder.
<>
Love's flashpoint changes time's pendulum swing.
In hearts still, treasures sublime, raptures bring.
