A Goat-man Sighting
A Micro-fiction Detailing a Sighting of the Beast
No one knows where he came from exactly. Some say an experiment, some say a natural-born freak.
Some say cursed.
However he came to be, he wanders the winding, wooded roads. Sharp horned and hoofed, but man in-between; the Goat-man.
We didn't heed the warnings; we walked by every sign. "Turn back", "Beware the Goat-man" - you know the kind.
Our flashlights had just died out when we heard a horrid sound; a screeching bleat that turned into a horrendous roar. Suddenly, something tremendous came rushing at us. We bolted, witless.
Later, parked, an axe protruded from our car...
