A farmer’s choice

once upon a time there lived a farmer named Ibrahim. He had three sons , Ahmed , Ali and Kamran. Farmer loved his sons very much and was very worried about their future because the three of them always used to fight with each other and farmer was afraid that when he dies his sons will get divided and might face poverty as well

One day farmer called his sons to his room. The three of them respected their father v much so they arrived within a minute in his room. The farmer told his sons that i give you all three hours, go and bring as many woods as possible. Ahmed asked his father , “ why the woods?” To which farmer replied , “ just do what i told you”. All three accepted their fathers demand and went for the search of wood. They collected the wood sticks and returned home till evening. After returning the kept the wood stick in front of their father and asked him what does he want to do with them to which their father replies i want you all to pick one wood stick and try to break it. The confused sons didn’t asked anything and did what they were told , they picked up the sticks and easily broke them into two pieces. Now the father said them that to pick 10 sticks each again the sons got confused but listened to their fathers order. As they picked the stick the farmer told them to break these stick together . The three of them tried really hard but none of them was able to break the ten sticks together, after trying really hard they got exhausted. Out of exhaustion Ali asked his father what is the reason behind this activity? Farmer now told his sons to come sit with him and then he started to explain the reason he said, “ i don’t know how much time i have in this world and i am really worried for you all as you keep fighting with each other, if you ever get divided you will become like a single stick and anyone can break you easily but if you are united and look for each others back no one can harm any one of you, just like you were not able to break the bunch of sticks” after listening to the reason behind that activity the sons understood and from then they behaved well will each other and no one was able to harm them because They had each others back.

The moral of the story is the siblings should always stay united and look for each other if not they might face problems
