A Cobble Stone Passage

My Last Hope

By Dan R FowlerPublished about a year ago 1 min read

As the sun sets in the West, I seek solace. Yonder light yet to be seen, flickers upon tomorrow's horizon in a land to which I go. I feel a sense of promise beneath, above, and around me, yet I yearn to bathe in them. Echoes from beyond sway my senses, and touch my heart. It's a sensation I've felt before, an emptying out of who I am so that I may understand who I will become. Ambiance of hope with light from yonder beacon lifts me from this journey, from this cobble-stone road of death that lays before me.
