Light years away, they watched and waited. Aware mankind would continue ignoring mistakes of its past, that hate leads to hate. They had the solution in their mind’s eyes, but never put love and kindness into practice. So, marked the date 01.01.2080 and set a course for our blue planet.

So that's the date love & kindness finally arrives & becomes real on planet earth--just a tad too late for any of us to realize it.

Well, perhaps a little depressing, but it carries a great message! Great entry, pal!

  • Great story… ‘ Aware mankind would continue ignoring mistakes of its past, that hate leads to hate. ’ Reminds me of a saying my husband quotes: ‘The only thing man learns from history is that man never learns from history.” Or words to that effect 🥹

  • Omgggg, I love that quote by George Santayana! I came across it as a teenager in my high school history book and has stuck with me ever since. I'm soooo happy you made my dream come true with this piece! Thank you so much King Paul Shakespeare! 🍩🥐
