In Exodus 15:20-21, we read that Miriam led the women in singing and dancing to praise God after He had parted the Red Sea and rescued the Israelites from the pursuing Egyptian army. Miriam is also referred to as a prophetess in Exodus 15:20, where she is described as taking up a tambourine and leading the women in song and dance.

Deborah

Deborah was a judge and prophetess in Israel during a time when the nation was oppressed by the Canaanites. She was known for her wisdom and leadership skills and was respected by both men and women. In Judges 4:4-5, we read that Deborah was a prophetess who held court under a palm tree and dispensed justice to the people of Israel. She also played a crucial role in the military victory over the Canaanites, leading the Israelites into battle alongside Barak.

Huldah

Huldah was a prophetess who lived during the reign of King Josiah of Judah. When the Book of the Law was discovered during renovations to the temple, Josiah sent his officials to seek guidance from Huldah. In 2 Kings 22:14-20 and 2 Chronicles 34:22-28, we read that Huldah confirmed that the Book of the Law was indeed the word of God and that Josiah's efforts to reform the nation were in accordance with God's will.

Anna

Anna was a prophetess who lived during the time of Jesus. She was a devout woman who spent most of her life in the temple, fasting and praying. In Luke 2:36-38, we read that Anna recognized Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah when he was presented at the temple by Mary and Joseph. She praised God and shared the good news with all who were waiting for the redemption of Israel.

Philip's Daughters

In Acts 21:8-9, we read about four women who were prophetesses and the daughters of Philip the Evangelist. They were highly regarded in the early Christian community and had the gift of prophecy. In this passage, we read that Paul stayed with Philip and his daughters in Caesarea, and they prophesied about Paul's upcoming trials.
