Fan of television and movies? Don't miss the biggest comics and pop culture event of the year, Comic-Con, which features A-list celebrities.

The largest city in Alaska, Anchorage, provides a wonderful summer experience both inside the city and throughout the surrounding area. You will enjoy your days in Anchorage if you enjoy adventurous activities!

To get a bird's eye perspective of the mountains around Anchorage and the landscape of Alaska, the first and maybe best thing to do is to trek to Flat Top. The vistas are stunning whether you opt to climb to the summit or enjoy a flat, 0.6-mile round. In one of Anchorage's 50 breweries, unwind with a craft beer after a strenuous stroll.

The Anchorage Market and Festival, which takes place on Saturdays and features over 300 exhibitors with unique souvenirs, apparel, local food, and more, will be missing from your July bucket list if you don't visit it. You may peruse the market and festival while enjoying live music and snacks.

Don't leave Alaska's largest city without seeing some of the charming neighboring communities, which are great day excursions from Anchorage!
