Babybee Duo 2019
We finally get to talk about prams! Yay! And what an exciting topic that is. I seriously have a pram obsession – well I DID before I found the perfect one. And I seriously cannot wait to share it with you.
Monique GriffaniPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesEight Must-Have Baby Items
So you've just had a baby. You're overjoyed, overtired, and overwhelmed. What exactly do you need? Are you prepared? There is so much information out there to go through, much like this very list, all claiming you need this and that for your baby to thrive. But if there was one thing I want to explain is this... you DO NOT need half of what others have claimed. A few well-made, multi-use products will help you care for and love your baby throughout those emotional first weeks and more. Some of these products I have used with my own family and work as an early childhood and elementary educator, and some of them I have heard about. All of them you should try for yourself and make an individual decision that best fits with your own lifestyle and child.
Kayla BloomPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesWays Nanit Plus Helps Parents Monitor Their Baby's Sleep
Nothing is quite as important for a baby's wellbeing like being able to get a good amount of sleep. A baby that sleeps well is one that is quiet, happy, and is more likely to grow up to be a healthy adult.
Cato ConroyPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesUse a Kasa Cam to Check Your Baby and Never Disturb Another Nap
It's hard to strike a balance—being properly attentive when you're dead exhausted and also not disturbing your new family member unnecessarily. I'm a first-time mother, so the desire to check on my little Sophia is incessant.
Alicia SpringerPublished 5 years ago in Families10 Reasons Every New Parent Needs an Owlet Smart Sock 2 Baby Monitor
It's every parent's worst nightmare. You worked hard to make sure your nursery was safe. You fed your child all the right food. You even bought a baby monitor that kept a good eye on your little one's movements. But then, one night, your child's heart stopped beating.
Cato ConroyPublished 5 years ago in Families10 Ways to Get Your Kids to Enjoy Brushing Their Teeth with the Playbrush
If there's one habit that's always been difficult to get kids to take up, it's getting them to brush their teeth at least twice a day. Children just don't feel like doing it; they feel like it's boring and that they have other things they could be doing instead (like eating candy, gum, or popcorn, for example).
Mackenzie Z. KennedyPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesRest Assured Your Child Is Safe with the Clever Dog Smart Monitor
Your baby is your life. The newest addition to the family is also the most fragile one. Babies need lots of care, attention, and love to grow—and that's why having a baby monitor is absolutely necessary.
Iggy PaulsenPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesI Tried the BlueSmart mia2: The Smart Baby Feeding Monitor That Tracks Temperature, Schedule & More
As a first time parent, I'll admit I'm far from perfect. I thought it would be an easy transition into fatherhood, mostly because my wife makes raising a newborn look fairly rudimentary. I guess that's just what motherly instinct is, because I have had no such luck in making the transition.
Greg BogartPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesMeet Lunii: The Screenless Storytelling Device Helping Kids Develop Vocabulary and Imagination
As a parent of a five year old, it's become increasingly difficult to find ways to entertain my child in a fun, yet somewhat educational way. After hearing my parents preach this for years, I can't believe I'm actually saying it myself, but kids today spend too much time glued to a screen. Back when I was a kid, all my parents really had to worry about was that "evil" television screen, but now there are iPhones, iPads, I this and I that, and my kid wants to see ALL of them.
Tony Anthony GregPublished 5 years ago in FamiliesMyPhoto Changed the Way I Do Sentimental Gifts, And I’ll Never Go Back
Call me old, or just call me old-fashioned, but I’ve never been much of a tech guy. It just never was my thing, and I preferred to live life the way my parents lived it. It’s been that way for 45 years, and I never really saw it changing.
Michael PickettPublished 6 years ago in FamiliesTop 5 Baby Items Used During Micro Preemie's First Year
My daughter was born at 25 weeks gestation. That is 15 weeks early! I'd been around preemie's before, but never any that early. I had many baby items at my disposal, but some were my favorites. They were used over and over again. I wanted to share what the items are so mom's with new babies, both premature and term, will be able to use them.
Sarita DayPublished 6 years ago in FamiliesBaby Products You Must Have
I believe one of the hardest things for me was deciding what baby products to get for my son while I was pregnant and preparing. Thankfully, my family is baby crazy. Plus they're basically pros so I was fortunate enough to receive most of my baby products through them.
