Hello readers! Join me on Story Time With Winter Madison as we read stories together. Story Time is a time to relax, snuggle with your favorite stuffed buddy or blanket, and listen to stories read by Winter Madison. Our Storytime Friday started with a fun and colorful book that hilariously takes us through the reasons that you should NEVER give a Unicorn a tutu!

After each Story Time episode, we will have what's called Circle Time! Circle Time will focus on the books we read during our Storytime episode. A Circle Time will be posted for each episode of Story Time. During our Circle Time, we discuss topics such as self-esteem, trying new things, just for fun topics, and many more! Be sure to tune in to our Circle Time after each Storytime episode. (click the underlined words above to take you straight to this week's Storytime and circle time!)

Circle Time Notes:

Readers: Imagine YOU have your own unicorn! What kinds of silly things would your unicorn do? What colors would your unicorn be? How about a name? What would your unicorn's name be?

Show me your unicorn pictures by drawing a picture or writing a story! Put on your imagination hats! All of my readers can post their pictures and stories (with an adult's help!) on my official author's page on Facebook (Winter Madison) and on Instagram (winter_the_author).

In the book, we follow a little girl and her Unicorn. The little girl starts off by wondering what would happen if she were to give her Unicorn a tutu. Then, a series of silly things happen! Do you remember what happens next in the book readers? The Unicorn dances! Readers, can you dance like a Unicorn? Let's try!

Now, readers, I want you to put your thinking caps on. Let's talk about what a sequence is. A sequence is the following on one thing after another. So, for example, in the book, we read after Unicorn put on her tutu she danced. Then AFTER that, she ran to the shoe closet. Then AFTER that, she put the little girl's boots on. So, one thing happened after another in the book! Can you think of anything that happens in sequence in your life? Do you have a morning routine? How about a bedtime routine? (click the underlined word for a video in sequence. Not sponsored or affiliated)

Word of the day! Get your parent's help with clicking the underlined word to learn what the word "Unicorn" means. Talk about the word of the day and how it relates to our book.

The word of the day is, "Unicorn". What do you think "Unicorn" means? What is a Unicorn?

Now. readers, we have reached the end of our Circle Time. How did you like today's story? What were your favorite parts of the story? Did the story make you laugh? Talk about it! Talk about how the story made you feel inside. Sometimes, stories can make us feel happy inside!

I want all of my readers to wrap their arms around yourselves and give yourself a big, unicorn hug. Take a deep breath and say I love me! One more time readers, wrap your arms around yourself and squeeze really tight, and say I love me!

Readers, do you have the book, "Never Let a Unicorn Wear a Tutu", at home? Whenever we read a story during Storytime you can always follow along! Let's count our word of the day. How many times does the word, "Unicorn", appear in the book?

I hope my readers can join me on our newest adventure as we read "Never Let a Unicorn Wear a Tutu" followed by Circle Time where we follow up with lessons from what we read. I look forward to reading with you!
