One day Jimmy is in the garden playing with his friend Joey. They're building castles in the sandpit. It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining, and there is the sound of joy and laughter in the air.

Jimmy's mommy is watching from the window smiling as she sees the fun little Jimmy is having. It's been such a long time coming. Each day she gives gratitude for the wonders of the universe, and the abundance and prosperity she has in her life, especially giving thanks to the divine for the love of her son. The treasure born of pain that she thought she would never see, and the pain of wondering if she would lose him as she lost his father.

Joey is as Jimmy says his "bestest friend" in the whole wide world, and they will be together forever. Their stories as they play are of far off places and exciting adventures that one day they will travel for real.

Already they have a plan to see the world and help make it a better place. Jimmy's mummy wonders at the old souls that reside in such young human form and rejoice that she was blessed to be the guide and nurturer of this child who many call crystal or Indigo. What does it matter, a label? He is who he is. And with that, she will do her best to help him understand the ways of the world and the universal energy.

As they continue to play in the sand, Joey asked if his new friend Sally can come and play as she has just moved into the house next door to him. It is the school holidays she's not had a chance to make many new friends. Joey has seen her playing by herself in a back garden, and it gives him a strange little tug in his chest when he sees her talking to her doll. Her long black hair drifting over her face, and sometimes he thinks she must be crying. As she's often brushing her cheeks with the back of her hand, then wipe it down the leg of her jeans.

He doesn't mean to keep watching her, but sometimes he cannot help it as he feels sad for her. He tells all this to Jimmy, as he is his best friend and they share everything. Jimmy is a gentle soul, and he nods his head as Joey tells him about Sally, for some reason he gets this funny feeling in his tummy and his chest, and it hurts. Just a little. He does not know why, he has not even seen this girl yet, but already has a bad feeling about this.

Because this feels so strange, he goes and asks Mummy for a drink and thinks about Joey's question. When he goes back instead of saying yes as Joey thought he would he says no, the first time ever he has said no to Joey. He tries to tell Joey why, but it does not come out right he cannot find the words to express this strange and achy feeling he has. So he just says he's not feeling well.

Joey is so shocked and surprised at this, that he lashes out and shouts at Jimmy and throws sand at him. The sand goes everywhere in Jimmy's hair his mouth his eyes and all over his clothes as Joey runs out of the garden tears fill his eyes and he feels so hurt and rejected swearing never to speak to Jimmy again.

Jimmy calls his name but he just ignores him and keeps on running until he reaches home. Jimmy turns, and with tears running down his cheeks. He goes indoors to find his Mummy. His friend was forgotten for now.

Mummy picks him up and carries him to the front room sits down with him and lets him cry on her shoulder. Normally he would have been wriggling and saying he was too big for his Mummy's lap and recall that Mummy would always smile and say, little boys are never too big for cuddles and tears are nothing to be ashamed of.

She would always say that tears were a way of letting go of bad feelings and before he never understood, but now he could feel something as if the tears were washing away the hurt. It still felt strange but did not hurt so much. Mummy asked him what had happened. And he told her that he and Joey had had a fight. And although Mummy was very surprised at this, she did not show it and just continued to hold him.

Whilst between hiccups and tears. He tried to explain what had happened. She let him talk, and as he did so she brushed the sand from his hair and face as the tears washed it out of his eyes. She then brushed it from his body. And although Jimmy didn't ask why he saw that she always brushed it away to the floor and shook her hands after doing

He watched her face as she listened. It was as if her eyes were saying something to him. What Mummy was doing? He was later to learn when he was a little older, was that she was sharing with the universe her request to help cleanse Jimmy's energy field, as she held him. Mummy then began to explain as simply as she could about the reason why his tummy and chest was feeling funny.

She explained that we have this energy around us. And sometimes we can feel other people's energy. And when this happens, it can make us feel very strange and funny at times. It's not a bad thing, just something different that we can feel, why did this happen when Joey mentioned Sally little Jimmy asked? This could be for different reasons. And she went on to explain. As she did, she asked how each explanation made the call Jimmy feel. She also held her hand gently on Jimmy's shoulders, and this made him feel very warm and settled.

She then said she wanted to play a game called ball and cloak. She asked Jimmy to imagine that he was covered in a great big cloak. So big he could wrap it all the way around him and bring the hood over his head, so that only the very tip of his nose could be seen, and that he was a wizard. She asked him to imagine the inside the cloak in the colour of silver. A silver so shiny, it was like looking into a mirror, and that as he wrapped this cloak around him. It would protect him from any funny or strange feelings coming into his tummy again. The Silver is shiny like a mirror and will send those feelings back where they came from whilst making them new and happy feelings.

She then said that sometimes no matter how much you wrap the cloak around you forget, a little gap is left. This does not matter because each day we will play the golden ball game. This is an extraordinary ball, because it's a bright golden ball like the sun, and it can change its size and be as small as a ping pong ball or as large as a Ferris wheel. But even when it's as big as you can imagine it to be, it will always fit in your room.

There is one other thing that makes it very special. And that is, it has a pair of golden legs and golden wings. At this Jimmy giggled, he imagined this ball with legs and wings. She smiled. It was such a beautiful giggle, and it shone was so much love when he smiled. Now she said, I want you to see this golden ball beside you, as big or small as you want. As this is your ball, and when you are ready, I want you to imagine those funny feelings in your chest and tummy as tiny marbles and that you can throw all those marbles that make you feel wobbly, your golden ball will catch them and keep them inside. You can throw them any way you like as your golden ball will run on his little legs to catch them. For the next few minutes, little Jimmy laughed and giggled as he threw the marbles for his golden ball to catch.

Then when the legs disappeared he knew he had thrown all his marbles, as he watched his golden ball she told him to watch for the golden wings that would now appear, and as they did so the ball began to float to the windowsill very gently, he imagined he saw the window opening, and with a little tip-tap on the window, his golden ball glided out of the window up over the high trees into the sky. Like a kite that had lost its string until it could be seen no more. Mummy said that this ball liked a little poem to be said to it as it went, as this made it known it was being sent to do good things with little Jimmy's marbles.

Mommy said the words first and then the Jimmy copied

"Golden Ball taps and dances, as I fill you with these funny feelings,

Golden ball flies so high, way, way up into the sky.

Take these feelings and make them smile, so I don't have to cry.

Thank you, Golden Ball."

After Mummy and Jimmy played the cloak and ball game. She says there's one more game to play this game will make you feel warm and glowing. Just like after you've eaten a bowl of porridge. She laughs. That is the clap hands game, and it goes like this.

She and Jimmy clap hands together until they felt warm, and then they pat the top of their heads and their bodies in all the places they could reach and then laughing and giggling they patted each other's backs. As they did this, Mummy said to imagine that their hands were full of light and wherever they patted their bodies, the light would go. Sometimes she said just to put his hands on his body for a little while, but only where he wanted to.

As Jimmy continued to pat his body and clap his hands giggling quietly to himself he could hear Mummy quietly whisper thank you to the air. He thought this strange but he knew that Mummy often said thank you to the air and one day he would remember to ask her who she was talking to but for now he was having so much fun clapping and feeling better that he did not give it another thought.

Jimmy went off to bed that night, he thought to himself, he liked being a wizard with a cloak and his new ball, and the clap hand game. He's going to teach Joey how to play this game and with a smile on his face he drifts off to sleep.

He wondered if perhaps mommy was a witch, and he would have to ask as even with a kiss and the words I love you, she made him feel better.

His final thought before drifting off to sleep was. It must be magic, mustn't it?
