In The Arms of Twilight

Part 1: Unexpected Meeting

In a village surrounded by Green Mountains, there lived two families who had striking differences in social status. The First Family, The Pradipta family, was a wealthy family who owned large farms and various businesses in the city. The second family, the Santoso family, is a simple family of farmers who live from gardens and rice fields.

Between these two families, a complicated love story is established between their children, Raka Pradipta and Lila Santoso. Raka is a handsome, intelligent, and humble young man who has just returned from the city after completing his education. Meanwhile, Lila is a beautiful girl with eyes that always sparkle, has a sincere heart, and is famous for her kindness in the village.

They met for the first time in a beautiful twilight, on the shore of a lake located in the middle of the village forest. Raka, who was looking for peace after so long in the city, accidentally met Lila who was picking wildflowers to sell in the market.

"Excuse me, Are you a resident here?"ask Raka with a friendly smile.

Lila nodded shyly. "Yes, I live in this village. Who are you, if you know?"

"I'm Raka. Just got back from the city after a long time there. Nice to meet you," Raka replied as he reached out.

Lila greeted Raka's hand with a little hesitation. "Purple. Nice to meet you too, Raka."

Their conversation continued until the sun began to set. Without them knowing it, they felt very comfortable with each other. The meeting became the beginning of a series of subsequent meetings. They often meet by the lake every dusk, sharing stories about their lives, dreams, and hopes.

However, their happiness did not last long. Pradipta's family, especially Raka's father, Tuan Pradipta, was very strict about maintaining the family's social status. Upon learning of Raka's closeness to Lila, Lord Pradipta is furious.

"Raka, you can't hang out with that poor peasant boy! Remember the status and dignity of our family," snapped Mr. Pradipta when Raka came home one night.

"Dad, Lila is a good girl. We love each other, " Raka replied firmly.

"There is no place for such love in our family. You must stay away from him, or you will suffer the consequences," threatened Mr Pradipta.

On the other hand, Santoso's family also felt anxious. They knew that the love between Lila and Raka would bring them big trouble. Even so, Lila and Raka did not give up. They are determined to fight for their love, no matter what.

Part 2: Secret Plan

Raka and Lila begin to plan a way to stay together despite being confronted by their respective families. They decided to meet secretly in places unknown to anyone.

One starry night, they met behind a secluded hill. There, they talk about their future and how to deal with obstacles.

"Lila, I'll talk to dad again. I will try to convince him that our love is sincere," Raka said Hopefully.

"But Raka, what if he still disagrees? I'm afraid our family will hate each other even more," Lila replied anxiously.

"We have to try, Lila. I can't imagine life without you," Raka hugged Lila tightly.

Their meeting that night becomes the beginning of a grand plan that will test the constancy of their love. They are aware that their struggle is not over and they must be prepared for any eventuality.

Part 3: Determination

Raka again spoke to his father, this time more firmly and confidently. On the other hand, Lila also tries to convince her family that their love is something worthwhile and worth fighting for.

However, threats and pressure from both families are increasing. Pradipta's family even tried to match Raka with girls from other prominent families, while Santoso's family began to avoid Raka and his family in order to maintain peace in the village.

How is the relationship between Raka and Lila? Will their love be able to overcome all the obstacles and differences that exist? Will they find a way to unite despite being blocked by family and social status?
