“As temperatures rise, skin problems increase,” says Sharma. But don't worry, there is a way out of every summer skin problem your child may be facing. The first thing that comes to mind when we think of heat is usually heat stroke, also known as heat stroke. This is due to excessive sun exposure, dehydration, and fever. It usually appears as red marks or bruises on the baby's cheeks, scalp or back and can occur in older children as well. ”

Rising temperatures lead to an increase in bacterial infections. In the summer, children often get skin diseases caused by sweating, fever, and even folliculitis, as they come out of the sun. It leads to swollen hair follicles that can sometimes be painful.

According to Sharma, “Exercise Sweating is an instinct reaction of the body to heal. In an effort to relax the body, our body releases sweat. And with younger children and more running and playing, they are often hot and sweaty. "

Here are some skin problems that babies and infants experience:

Excessive sweating during the summer can lead to many skin and skin diseases. Sweat may accumulate in the skin of young children and lead to rashes and symptoms.

Surprisingly, thirst also exists in summer and is often caused by reduced hydration in the body. In northern India, a hot summer breeze leads to further drought. Skin peeling and bruising can be caused by summer dryness.

Indeed the summer sun comes with the damage of the sun. Strong UV rays can lead to skin problems, especially on the sensitive skin of children leaving scars, rashes, and even actual skin damage.

But to combat all of these skin problems, there are simple steps you can take to prevent them. The most crucial thing is to keep the body neat.. “During breastfeeding, babies get enough water from breast milk/breast milk, but infants and toddlers need more water. This not only helps the skin but also protects children from all dehydration problems such as diarrhea, cramps, nausea, and so on, ”Sharma, Co-founder, and CEO, of Citta World, told Health Shots.

Here are a few points for baby skin care:

1. Keep it moist

Getting children to drink water is not always easy so drinks such as lemonade or coconut water also nourish the body and skin. Create art by adding different fruits such as strawberries and mint to flavor the water. Along with drinks keep snacks, and encourage children to eat fruits and vegetables based on water to keep the body feeling active and light. Watermelon and cucumbers make delicious snacks and add tons of water to the body.

2. Wear breathable fabrics

“Make babies and toddlers wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Wearing breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen helps to keep the body cool and dry. Especially during playtime make sure they wear bright colors and a cap too, ”said Sharma

3. Let them play in the house

Avoid most of the day. Although many children like to play outside during their summer holidays, they do not go out in the afternoon. It is important to play in the evening before sunset or early in the morning. Always apply sunscreen suitable for children before they leave the house.
