Cain Park Arts Festival - Cain Park

The Cain Park Arts Festival RETURNS! After more than four decades, the Cain Park Arts Festival is making its way back to Northeast Ohio, showcasing the incredible work of artists from all over the country. This three-day juried event will be completely FREE to attend. In addition to the captivating art exhibits, there will be an array of food concessions and live entertainment suitable for all age groups.

Truss - Mahalls Lakewood

In 2018, a group of students at the Ohio State University came together to form an energetic hard rock band. They began their musical journey by captivating audiences at college clubs, events, and parties throughout the region. In May 2019, the band achieved a significant milestone with the release of their single "Mayhem," which was recorded at the esteemed studio in Ohio State's Wexner Center for the Arts, with the assistance of their friend Cooper Towns. Since its release, "Mayhem" has garnered nearly 700,000 streams across various platforms, showcasing the band's growing popularity.

Following their graduation, the band decided to return to their roots in Cleveland, where they have continued to showcase their talent through electrifying performances at local venues. Their passion for music and unwavering dedication to their craft have solidified their presence within the local music scene.

2nd Annual Shaker Soirée - Shaker Museum

Spend a delightful evening at the Shaker Soirée, the premier annual benefit event, held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the museum grounds. As a guest, you'll enjoy an intimate garden setting where you'll have full access to a wide selection of beverages including beer, wine, and signature cocktails. To kick off the festivities, we invite you to join our Champagne Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. This exclusive pre-event celebration includes unlimited champagne, an exquisite champagne cocktail, and a special hors d'oeuvre. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere with live music performed by the Youth Bridging Through Arts string quartet. As an option, you can also embark on a behind-the-scenes museum tour led by our Executive Director or join curator-led tours of our captivating special exhibitions. Your Champagne Hour ticket also grants you access to the Garden Party from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., where you'll receive three drink tickets, complimentary valet parking, and the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the evening's festivities.

During the Garden Party, indulge in the sumptuous offerings provided by Bon Vivant Catering, including a variety of delectable hors d'oeuvres and delightful desserts. You'll receive two drink tickets to enjoy refreshing beverages, with the option to purchase additional drink tickets if desired. Groove to the beats spun by DJ Denicio as you revel in the company of fellow attendees. Take part in our auction and raffle, showcasing the best of local businesses, for a chance to win exciting prizes. Throughout the evening, cocktail tables and limited seating will be available for your comfort.

The Shaker Soirée is a celebration deeply rooted in our history. It pays homage to our former Gracious Gardens tours and commemorates the Shaker Historical Society's inaugural social event, a community garden party held in 1948. By attending this event, you directly support our mission to collect, preserve, and interpret the captivating history of Shaker Heights. We strive to inspire curiosity and foster engagement between diverse communities by sharing the stories, people, and events that shape our local history.

All proceeds from the Shaker Soirée go toward supporting the operations, programming, exhibitions, and collections of the Shaker Historical Society. Alongside their involvement in Amazon's Thursday Night Football broadcast, Dude Perfect has also announced a new fan destination and headquarters.

In the 2023 edition of their tour, the Dudes will deliver an engaging and action-packed show, filled with laughter and thrilling trick-shot-themed battles.
