The day has been long and it’s time to go to bed. Snuggle in tight and rest your head. We’re taking a journey not far from here; an adventure that’s sure to make your greatest dreams appear. The trip won’t take long, though I’m sure you’d like to know, how far and wide do dreamers go. We’ll find a guide before we take off; a friend who can help us find what dreams are made of. His name is Dunce and he lives not far from here, in a hole in a tree with quite a sleepy atmosphere. He snoozes and snores his days away, resting up for the travelers that come his way. He shows them the way once they arrive. He takes them to the place where dreams come to life. Every bit of wonder and amaze comes from this place. Any good dream you’ve ever had comes from there in great haste.

We take our journey past the sleeping snap dragon’s den and around the dozing daffodil field. Under the waterfall flowing upside down, the great oak tree is revealed. Right at it roots; down by our feet stands the little red painted door to the bean guide’s retreat. If you listen real close you’d be sure to hear; the sound of soft snores coming through the door, waking everyone that’s near. A knock once and a knock twice would not be enough to wake him up in delight. A knock for a third time and you might get a grumble but not enough for Dunce to roll out of bed with a tumble. Bang, bang against the door to wake up the bean. We have places to go and sights to be seen.

With a little bit of patience and all complaints hushed, the door is finally open with no need to be rushed. ‘’Good evening, traveler. Get your hiking your shoes. Let me show the path and give you all the clues.’’ He rolls out a map, leaving no minute spared. He points out all the bad parts where travelling should not be dared. And soon after our chat it’s time to set off; time to find the thing that dreams are made of. Dunce leads us along a path lined with a few dozing daffodils, making sure that this adventure starts off with some thrills. We get in a canoe, floating around; rowing all the way up the waterfall flowing upside down.

Once we make it to the top it’s time to float some more. This time we’re floating on fluffy clouds that soar. We fly through the clouds and over the trees; making it a quick trip to the dream factory. If you look to the ground be sure to look out for the snapdragons that outgrew trees when they started to sprout. They snap left and snap right and if you’re not careful, they leave a nasty bite. But with Dunce by your side I’m sure you’d be careful, he’s led a few people that were quite the handful; another bean like Dunce who wanted to fly to the moon. We think he’s still on his way, he might get there soon.

Once we get off our clouds it’s time to take a hike, through the glowing mushrooms shining a path ever so bright. Neon colors beyond your imagination; Blue, Green, Yellow and Orange all guiding you to your final dreamy destination. ‘’We’re almost there. I can tell you’re getting sleepy. It’s sure to surprise you when you see the dream factory.’’ We follow along the glowing mushroom path, our eyes getting heavier with the moments that pass. The stars have settled in above us, giving us brighter, shimmering light. Our journey will soon be done but just not quite. We have a few more stops to make before we can see, what the dreams are made of that are made for you and me.

Be on the lookout, you’ll see it without a doubt; little furry dreamcatchers running about. They hop and they skip and they make a soft purring sound. They’re baby blue, incredibly furry and somewhat round. Dream catchers like to cuddle; it’s just what they do. If you make friends with a dreamcatcher it could only benefit you. Our friend Dunce has led us this far and it’s also quite clear that the factory where dreams are made should be near. The air is filled with a purple foggy blanket making even Dunce want to snuggle up and sleep for a bit. Don’t be surprised when you see; little golden starry flakes floating free. They’re leftover bits from a dream already made. The golden flakes come from the magic that never fades.

There up ahead you will see the place where dreams are made free. It leans against a big twisty tree, the thing that releases dreams. It gleams in the moonlight with a shimmer that’s far seen. ‘’Go ahead, dear. Go and see what you seek. Go and look at what makes dreams so full of magic.’’ Dunce has led you this far but it’s time to go on our own. He gets on a cloud and floats back home. Let’s take a step forward together to see; what is the magic of the dream factory? A step closer to the goal and another follows right after, stepping lightly until we are met with the dream enchanter.

Now I’m sure you’re shocked at what you’ve just found; a mirror standing tall and planted firmly in the ground. The origin of all dreams starts in its reflection; the creator of dreams and all its affection. It’s you my dear, in case it hasn’t been that clear. You are the creator of all your dreams and all the wonder near.

Now we’ve completed our journey and our friend Dunce has gone home. He’s already snoozing and making dreams of his own. Now snuggle close dear and cuddle up tight. Dreams come from your heart, made from love and light.

The End.
