Best Interactive YouTube Videos for Kids

My children love YouTube.

I know, I know. Spare me the lecture. But I found there is a lot of great content out there for kiddos. We love Paw Patrol and Blues Clues in my house.

After learning about freeze dances from their daycare provider, I found a few on YouTube and played them for my kids. We love them in our house. It is a quick and fun way to burn some energy off for kiddos. It's great during the winter-time honestly when it is a little more difficult to go outside.

Just type in 'freeze dance for kids' into the YouTube search bar and you will be amazed at all the variety of videos like these ones that are out there.

So I compiled a list of our favourite freeze dances/brain break videos to share with fellow parents who might need a list like this.

I hope you enjoy and find these videos to be useful. And parents, feel free to join in the fun with them. It's a memory in the making for them and it's so much fun.

A bit of a longer video compared to most of the ones on this list, but I found this Mario interactive video for kids and my five and three year old love it! My son is a super huge Mario and Nintendo fan so I was specifically searching for a Mario freeze dance video and I came across this. We love this one.

This is another great interactive video for kids. It outlines the whole Gingerbread story and is fun to watch and listen to. My daughter loves this one.

The original freeze dance video is one of their favourite ones. It is cute and funny to watch the kids dance and freeze along to the video.

This one is a highlight in my house. I have used this tactic to get the kids to burn off energy for almost a year now. This one is one of the most requested in my house- well besides a Mario one.

Like I stated before, Mario and Nintendo is a huge hit in my household. These videos are great for the kids because you get to interact with what is going on the screen. And it is different than just a regular freeze dance.

I don't know who showed my kids this song, but they are completely obsessed with the Gummy Bear song. I remember when this came out when I was a child. This is a highly requested one in our house.

My son loves video games. I don't fully understand his fascination with Among Us. (At daycare they play pretend Among Us tag) But when I found this one, I had to play it for him. He loved this Among Us freeze dance video.

This video happens to be my daughter's favourite one. It is extremely interactive with the kids. A different take on freeze dances. When Andy comes, that is when you freeze.

This one was a great find. Again, my kids get sick of the same videos over and over again so I like coming up with a variety of these videos for them.

This Spider-Man one was a hit with my son!

My daughter loves Cocomelon. She even has two Jay-Jay dolls. This is one of her favourite freeze dance videos.

This Bluey interactive video, is a bit longer than some of the ones on this list but it is so worth it. My kids loved this one.
