We all need food for our sustenance. All of us eat food daily, it is something which we can not avoid but sometimes it happens that we get bored of eating the same food every day and then we find tastes. Some people would say that they can go to a restaurant and have tasty food and break the chain of simple food but we all know that it is possible for everyone and restaurant food is not healthy because it gives us unnecessary fat and cholesterol. Well, there are ways by which you can make your simple food a little bit delicious by adding so many pickles to your food. Indians have been taking these pickles for centuries, these pickles are tangy, spicy, and salty which makes the simplest food tasty. There are so many types of pickles which are made of vegetables and various other ingredients.

1) Mango Pickle: this is the most famous out of all the various types of pickles. The mango pickle is prepared with raw mangoes, chilies, and indigenous spices. This can be preserved after its preparations and consumed throughout the year. You can have it with any type of food.

2) 2) lemon Pickles: we all know that lemon is good for our health, and we all should consume lemon to get vitamin C. Lemon pickles are available in sour and sweet flavours. This pickle is made of methi seeds, jaggery, asafoetida, sesame oil, mustard oil, vinegar, and authentic Indian spice. This will be a healthy addition to our diet because all the ingredients that are used in its preparations are full of nutrients. So it will not only enhance the taste of your food but nutrients as well. You can eat it with Indian dishes such as aloo paratha, cheese paratha, etc.

3) Bamboo Shoot Pickle” This pickle is not very popular but I must say that if you are fond of food then you have to try it. The edible part of bamboo is mixed with various spices in oil. You can enjoy this with any Indian meal, it will give you a crunchy texture and an appeasing aroma that will increase your appetite.

4) Garlic Pickle: if you are an Indian then you must be aware of the importance of garlic in Indian foods. It is a must ingredient in any Indian food. You can consume it with simple paratha and Gujarati food. It gives you many flavors like salty, spicy, and sweet. Therefore, you will not add taste but various nutrients present in the garlic.

5) Amla Pickle: amla is very good for our health and hair but we can not eat it raw because it is tangy and sour. So, Indians have made the pickle of it to consume it. This is also available in sweet and salty flavors. It is prepared with amla, sesame seeds, fenugreek seeds, and Indian spices.

6) Radish Pickle: this pickle is famous in the winter season. It can be easily prepared and consumed within a week. You just need to chop the radishes and marinate them with salt, honey, and vinegar, this tastes so good with every food.

These were some of the best types of pickles which were made in every Indian household. These pickles are good for our taste buds and health also.
