Da Vinci get over here!

I’m sorry Dad. I must run. The life it brings is as it is in the spiritual world.

Da Vinci!

He wouldn’t understand the breeze that pushes my ears back. He’s going to be upset and then let me lay under him later. If he only knew I reflect he the rebel. Mother is going to scream when she hears what I did.

Hun that dang dog of yours. He’s hell I chased across the apartment complex today. Then, when I got home the picture from your mother. Vinci was laying in it with the trash scatter across the living room. Just look Sox pulls out his android. It was hard to see in some angle because it was all cracked and mangled like his shoestrings after da Vinci snuck in their room just to sleep under the bed and hid things.

“Love he’s just a rainbow baby. He’s ours just imagine him as our first born.”

“Yeah, I guess you are right. He is another me and we are your big babies. Well, I am anyways. I think he’s trying to steal my place here.”

(Laughing out loud) “No one can take your place Hun. You both are one of the same.”

“Yeah, I guess so.”

As, the days go by the Alexanders in their high maintenance pup. Got closer, but as they grew Da Vinci lived up to his name. A code to be cracked he was. Didn’t enjoy his kennel but hide his poop under the bed. Howling through the night the couple couldn’t do anything, just shake their heads.

“It’s your turn.”

“No! You got it.”

“Babe, please I’ll love you a long time. Until we’re old and grey even change your diapers. When the time comes.”

“Oh really, you gone wipe me too.”

Yuck! Nasty.

“Ugh, he pissed and pooped everywhere. Just look at the kitchen.”

Da Vinci just looked through his green and blue eyes. Mr. Alexander couldn’t drop his demeanor. Deep down he wanted to smile in laugh. He felt if so, Da Vinci wouldn’t understand to go to the door. When it was time for him to use the pot. So he had to be stern and firm in his actions.

Mrs. Alexander didn’t have a care in the world. She was soft and loving. Da Vinci knew he could get away with it from her. Dad on the other hand was like water and oil he just never knew. Dad really loved the kid. Played with him roughed him up and then called him to lay behind him. While he watched one peace.

Then, suddenly things changed. Da Vinci the life of the party, the wild child wasn’t himself. The couple went through their morning routine. Dad as always got up to take out Da Vinci. Before, he laid back down just to get right back up. Mother the angle was a gremlin in the morning.

A real lioness never liked to be woken up before her alarm. She just had to get her beauty sleep. The couple usually arrived home at the same time. As, they approach the door they gave each other a kissed. Dad the goof ball smacked mother on her rear end. She gives him a little side eye and followed up with her normal “baby stop people will see.”

Dad with his normal reaction. “I don’t care my universe. The portal to the life I have created.”

This time it was different. The pup usually bolts to the door and dives right into mother legs. was balled up in his bed. That swallowed him whole. Mother always went all out for him. She received the most joy and happiness when he plowed her down. When she stepped into their one-bedroom apartment.

Dad being dad always the nonchalant one but, caring comforted her. “He’s just hiding look at the wet spots.”

Mother nodded and agreed. Then, time went by. Dad noticed his partner and making moms nerves bad wasn’t active as he normally was. Usually, they’ll be wrestling over dad’s foot or play fighting. While Mother yelled at dad. “Your being too rough stop you’re hurting him.” Then, Dad replied, “it’s not me look, he’s charging me.”

Da Vinic didn’t budge nor move. So, the couple walked over petted the little guy on his head. “what’s wrong little guy?” mother asked. Da Vinci just looked up and laid his short snot back down. More time went by. Dad got worried. “Babe, let’s take him to the vet.” So, the couple grabbed the chubby runt and rushed out the door.

“Well, Da Vinci will need some Tylenol and watched closely. We also had to pump his stomach. The little rascal got a hold of some bleach. Do any of you know how?”

Dad dropped his head. “Yeah. I forgot to throw the mop water out from the night before.”

The car ride was quiet on the way home. Da Vinci laid in mother’s lap. She treated him like a newborn baby fresh out of its’ mother’s womb. They were a family a unite of three that made one. Dad beats himself up that night. Mother the loving kind and understanding person she was. Rubbed his head, the jester was a thousand words that didn’t have to said.

A few days went by the pup was coming back to. The home was still and lifeless for a the time. But things were getting back to the norm of things. Dad and Da Vinci barked and growled at each other like an episode of cat dog. Mother shouting at them both. “Hey, I’m watching seven heavens!” They’ll stop give her look and go right back to their horse playing.

These were the times that created the love and unity in the home of the Alexander’s. A woman, a man, and their curious puppy. But these were the moments I flourished. Da Vinci gave me a feeling of a father, a friend and most of all a childhood. See, we learn to cherish these moments because of the adversity. We tend to want to forget. Ask yourself “how would you know what happy moments are if you never embrace the trails?”

As beings on this earth. We lose the importance of living. Da Vinci was more then just a puppy. He was a key to life that I personally didn’t get as a child. Not because I sat around and segregated myself. Yet, because the environment of the caterpillar didn’t allow it to spread it’s wings as wide as they were capable of. Some of us are placed in a society that we must grow up faster. This doesn’t have to dela with color nor gender. It’s just apart of our life purpose. Too, become the best version of our selves.

Remember, to live life you should love and mother your scares. We grow up yelling that “we wish to be grown.” Not actually knowing the power of our words. Manifestation just like karma works in both ways. You speak good you attract good; you speak negativity you receive it as well. Then, there’s karma. You can have the biggest heart be the most loving. Boom! Life teaches you. That if you give to much of yourself. This is what’s left, you broken down to your knees yelling “why?’. Ask yourself “why do I love the way I love? Why do I give so much of myself and the tangible things that I possess?”

Selflove, we yell and preach daily. However, how far are we willing to go into loving oneself? It took me to meet a unique pup and time to see. We are all connected. Da Vinci was the child in me that I hide from the world. He was the key to allowing that inner child to live upon this earth for once. Look deep within and call upon the child that lives inside of you, Once, you and the little you are connected just hug each other. Even though you are living in the ego created to protect that aspect of yourself. They are two of the same. That’s you!
