Turtle Back Zoo

Find your favorite animals at the Turtle Back Zoo, a family-friendly attraction in New Jersey that is a part of the South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange. A sea turtle entertainment area, touch pools, Big Cat Country, Wolf Woods, and a butterfly shop are just a few of the many animal exhibits available. The Turtle Back Zoo also offers kids rides, miniature golf, playgrounds, and a tree climbing class.

The Turtleback Zoo is open daily from 10am to 5pm. M. at 4 p.m. M. This zoo, which is among the oldest in the region, is about 30 minutes from Jersey City. Tickets are only good for the admissions hour. If you wait in line for a while, you don't have to worry about passing the ticket. There is a 30 minute time slot in which you can enter the Turtleback Zoo.

Adventure Aquarium

Touch a shark at Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey. The Adventure Aquarium is known for its various marine life exhibits, including one of the large collection of Fish in the Northeast. Children can play with aquatic themes in the Kid Zone and interact with multiple touch tanks, including a shark tank. Steel Pier's biggest attraction is the giant Ferris wheel, called The Wheel, with closed carriages. Other attractions include The Ax and The Pub, where you can watch ax throwing competitions.

Six Flags Great Adventure

New Jersey's Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park includes several activities for children at the heart of its drive-in theme park and safari park. Here you will find a variety of rides including roller coasters, theme park rides and attractions including rides for younger age groups and family groups.

Animals from all around the world can be seen at Six Flags via Wild Safari Drive in a large reserve. Theme parks have a variety of accommodations for autistic, disabled, and disabled visitors.
