5 Ways to Show Your Husband You Care

Touch

It doesn't have to be anything special. Just a touch on the hand, a shoulder rub, a kiss, a hug, holding hands, a foot rub, a back rub, taking a shower together washing the other (make sure you share the hot water though, you don't want a husband popsicle. Anything that shows you still crave physical contact, and that you still find them attractive.

Verbal Expression

Honestly, just tell them. Tell your husband how much you love him. How much you appreciate everything he does. He great he is at the hobbies he is passionate about. Tell him that you missed him while he was at work. If you are thinking something sweet about him tell him. Husbands can't read minds (no matter how much we wish they did).

Cook for Him

I know this sounds sexist. But seriously, cook your husband some home-cooked meals. Meals that he likes. This shows him that you care, that you listen and know what he enjoys. And do it without him having to ask. Surprise him. By all means this can go the other way around too. You should both be in tune with each other and be able to make each other happy (inside and outside of the kitchen). It really is true, the saying, the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Leave Him Alone

Give him a chance to have some alone time. Whether that means him playing video games in another room, or going shopping without him, a shower by himself, or him going to run an errand alone. He needs to not feel smothered. He needs to feel like he can still make his own decisions and still have control over his life. I know that we as females like to take, control, and fix things and that's ok in moderation, but don't be overbearing with it. That will only cause problems.

Love Him Unconditionally

I know you hear that and you probably think, "But what if he cheats?" But what I mean by love him unconditionally is, love him despite his shortcomings. Love him even if he didn't take out the trash the last four times you told him, love him even if he loaded the dishwasher backwards, love him through the days that he's cranky and doesn't want to be a people person, love him when he's tired, when he's sick. Love him through anything life may throw at you. How you react to situations that arise will show him how you truly feel about him.
