This three-day tour to the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania offers a series of remarkable experiences in a short while. The Safari flying visit lets you explore one of Africa’s seven natural wonders the Ngorongoro Crater and the Tarangire National Park which boasts a multitude of species of vegetation and animals.
Tarangire is known for its endless plains of savannah and its huge elephant herds. You will be introduced to the notorious big five and marvel at the vast landscape of the crater in Ngorongoro.
Day 1: Arusha to Arusha National Park
We will gather you early at the dawn heading off to the beguiling and often overlooked - Arusha National Park. Arusha is a jewel of Tanzania, with a variety of plant and animal life that will make you hold your breath.
You will explore the shores of tranquil Lake Momella which reflects the colors of the sky in her still waters, and you will experience the vibrancy of the bronzed bush where the Ngurduto Crater buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, warthogs, zebra, and gazelle busy themselves. These are residents throughout the year so you were bound to see a diverse animal everywhere you turn. The elusive leopards and elephants tend to be shy at Arusha but there is a good chance of spotting them, too. You will also have a chance to set out on foot for a fascinating walk at its a different sensation feeling Africa's vibrant pulse through the soles of your shoes. At a slower pace, you can start to understand Africa.
You will get up close and personal to the flora and fauna but you’ll stay safe, accompanied by an armed ranger who will guide you through lush forest to the clear springs of a sparkling waterfall. Arusha National Park's rangers are extremely acknowledging, and as you stroll you will learn so much about the biodiversity of the park, and instantly you will spot a tribe of black and white colobus monkeys, famous in the park for their acrobatics. then You will be back in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
We will leave Tarangire National Park and we will start exploring the gigantic termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is famously known for its various bird species and a vast population of elephants.
There are regular sightings of relentless lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons. After viewing the wildlife in Tarangire we will continue our journey to our next highlight the Ngorongoro Crater and Close to Lake Manyara. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, you will be driven from Arusha to Lake Manyara. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park provides picturesque, diversifying scenery. We will have a picnic lunch in the beautiful park.
Assorted habitats accompanied by also rainforests, the Soda Lake, and the savannah support the highly diverse ecosystem. With over four hundred bird species, some of which are migratory, the reserve is a birdwatcher's delight. Lake Manyara houses the legendary tree-climbing lions as well as buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. We will be back in Arusha in the late afternoon.
