As the pandemic spreads, our families must now survive quarantine amongst each other. There's no need to panic, take advantage of this quality family time! Thanks to the recent release of Disney+ we have endless memories to visit.

Get everyone snuggled up on the couch and throw some popcorn in the microwave, time to take a ...

A Goofy Movie

Released in 1995, A Goofy Movie is a nostalgic flick featuring the life of favorite character Goofy and his son Maximilian. This film possesses some great lessons for parents and teens alike, displaying a growing relationship between a parent and a changing teenager.

Although, this is a great throwback Thursday film, we don't recommend taking any driving tips from it...

Frozen 2

If you have a Frozen fan in your house, you've probably heard Let it Go enough to last you a lifetime(including your child's a version). Disney released the sequel to this favorite in 2019. Thanks to COVID-19, the film has been released to Disney+ streaming service for families stuck at home. Frozen 2 follows Elsa's journey to find who she is and where she is to be. We also discover what happened to Elsa and Anna's parents(well, kind of). Ultimately, this was a cute movie that your kids will love as much as the first.

and

This hilarious Disney Channel series premiered in 2007, instantly becoming a favorite among children and parents. This show follows one simple plot. Candice, older sister of Phineas and , continuously attempts to "bust" her inventive little brothers. In the meantime their pet platypus, Perry, is actually a secret agent, saving the tristate area from the evil Doctor Doofenshmirtz. This show is great for Elementary School viewers and up(yes that means parents too).

Kim Possible

Another fan favorite, Kim Possible, is available on Disney+. If you're a parent to young children, you probably grew up watching this show. We met Kim in 2002 as a normal high school teenager, who casually saves the world on the side. This might be one show everyone can agree on watching. If you were in the 90s, you grew up watching this classic show, but it never gets old.

Aladdin (Live Action Remake)

This remake of the classic cartoon was released in 2019. came to life in this film, it's everything we imagined and more. The 2019 film elaborates on Jasmine's strong, feminist role. We were all applauding when Jasmine exclaimed "I am not a prize to be !" in the 1992 cartoon. Fast-forward to 2019, and we see Jasmine fighting for her voice to be and her right to lead. This is a perfect film to wrap up women's history month.

Tangled

We're all starting to feel a bit like Rapunzel this week...

Tangled (2010) was the first movie released by Disney in this blend of animation style, which was later used in Frozen. Fans were ecstatic when Rapunzel joined the Disney Princesses. Disney's rendition of the classic tale did not disappoint. This is another action packed, heart-warming motion picture that's great for the whole family.

Toy Story Collection

The original Toy Story released in 1999 as the first Disney film. Coincidentally, it also the most popular Disney sequence. Toy Story follows the life of the toys in a child's room. After watching this movie you might catch your kids trying to "spy on their toys", waiting for them to move about the room.

We thought that we couldn't get a better ending to the series after Toy Story 3 released in 2010 (cue the tears), but the 2019 film Toy Story 4 ended up being what we needed (more tears). The Toy Story collection is also a fantastic display of technological advance. Can we talk about animation improvement?

Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland was released in 1951, based off the popular novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This film is a classic trip with heavy psychedelic themes. We follow an adventure of a young girl whose curiosity gets the best of her. Alice follows a white rabbit, and falls into Wonderland, where everything is what it isn't!

Do you think Alice's journey was a simple dream, or did she stumble upon an alternate reality? This is a fun, creative film that will get the wheels in your head turning.

Brave

Based in Medival Scotland, Brave was released by Disney in 2012. Brave follows the story of a young princess, , who wishes to change her fate. She strives to break the tradition of marrying for diplomacy instead of for love. Hard headed Merida learns you cannot take short cuts to success.

This is another family film that accommodates women's history month, and displays the importance of family.

premiered on Disney XD in 2012. The concept of this show is best for a 6th grade and up audience of children (based on parent discretion). The show follows a pair of twins who discover mysteries about their town. Gravity Falls turns out to be a rather ominous, and mystifying place to live. The town seems to be a dark wonderland of its own.

Star Wars Collection

Our love of Star Wars began in 1977 believe it or not! The first trilogy was a fantastic display of the genius work George Lucas had to offer. The Star Wars universe may not have cell phones or laptops, but they sure do have advanced space travel and weapons technology. Star Wars now includes 3 Trilogies, Rogue One, and The .

Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series is also featured on Disney Plus. This is a great show for a younger audience, while I wouldn't recommend watching The with your young ones.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

This one is for those of us with toddlers! This is a great show to put on while you need to get chores done around the house. Released on Disney Junior in 2006, this show can be fun and educational for your preschooler. This might be the Disney Junior show my little one likes. Besides, who doesn't love Mickey Mouse?

Lilo & Stitch

I think we'd all rather be quarantined in Hawaii... but this movie will have to do for those of us who aren't there.

Lilo & Stitch was released in 2002, and we still love it. If you haven't seen this film in a while, I highly recommend re-watching it. Regardless of the hype Frozen received for a bond between sisters, Lilo & Stitch is the ultimate Disney movie demonstrating sisterly love. 19 year old Nani is to raise and for her 8 year old sister. In to give Lilo a forever friend, the sisters adopt the first of a new species, created by an alien scientist.

Finding

We met our favorite clown fish in 2003. The plot of the movie is what the title describes. Marlin takes a long journey across the sea to find his son . Along the way he meets a forgetful friend, , who ends up being helpful in aiding his travel to Sydney, Australia. In the meantime, grows into his fins with the help from the "eternal bonds of tank hood". This is perfect for movie night with the family, and fun for all ages!

Monsters Inc./ Monsters University

Monsters Inc came out in 2001, addressing the fear of monsters in our closet. This movie portrays the idea that monsters were scaring children to harness their screams as electricity (talk about renewable energy). We meet a fearless toddler, Boo, who adores and possibly thinks he's a large cat.

Monsters University was then released in 2013, as a back story of how Mike and became best of friends. Mike works hard against stereo types to be a , even though he looks like a geek. Mike and start as serious rivalries, but blossoms into the unlikely fan favorite friendship.

These two movies are both great demonstrations of love and friendship, and lessons about how working together can go a long way.

Wreck-It Ralph/ Ralph Breaks the Internet

The movie released in 2012 follows the life of vintage, video game character Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph lives in an arcade where characters can mingle among each other or visit other games in the surge protector power strip called Game Central Station. We have also gained a new Disney princess, , whose candy coated hair is adorable. When Ralph goes "Turbo", helps him find purpose beyond his game. The concept of this movie was well-thought-out and executed. All the siblings will love this choice!

After the success of Wreck-It Ralph, Disney released the sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet in 2018. The arcade our characters live in get the internet and our two main characters are the first to explore. The story of this friendship continues to warm our hearts.

Lion King

The 1994 original film is still a classic movie the whole family can agree on. Everyone loves soundtrack to this movie, we could all use a little right about now. We see plenty of unlikely friendships emerge, and we learn that no matter how far you stray away; you can always get back to where you're supposed to be.

Disney released a live action remake of the original in 2019. This is movie is practically a take for take copy of the original. Some scenes edited for the sake of realism. Although this was an interesting film to watch, you can't replace the original magic.

When 1998 film was released we instantly fell in love. This movie is actually based off a true story, but Disney offered a fun twist. is another great film to watch in honor of women's history month. In to save her father's life, poses as a man to serve in the Emperors Army and protect China against the Huns. We instantly fell in love with , 's ancestor guide. The soundtrack in this movie is fun to sing along with, and we love the women's empowerment lesson!

Hopefully you're ready to snuggle up on the couch and make your cinema ! Let's enjoy the precious time we get to have with our families.
