Are they twins?

What happened? Did the child come back as a doppelganger of the mother? Is this a reincarnation?

These are some of the questions you'll find yourself asking after reading through today's list.

It's an interesting one. Family resemblance is always something that I'm interested in seeing. Twins, children who look like parents, odder still: children who look like aunties or grandparents. I like to see those kinds of things.

So for today's list, I've compiled for you 10 celebrities who have a STRIKING resemblance to their mother.

I don't want to dilly-dally any further because I'm excited to share this with you, so without further ado, let's jump right into the list.

1. Tonto Dikeh

Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh was born into a family of 5 children: she is the third born.

In a family with these many children, one of them is bound to be a carbon copy of the parent, and it looks like that mantle fell upon Tonto's lap.

Tonto lost her mother, Veronica Dikeh, when she was 3. But when she posted a picture of her late mother on her social media, fans were shocked. From the way her mother posed to the way her mother looked, fans believed that Tonto Dikeh was a reincarnation of her mother.

I can obviously not speak to that, but looking at these two women side by side, one thing is definitely clear: this girl is a carbon copy of her mother.

2. Burna Boy

Not only daughters look like their mothers, sometimes sons also look like their mother. This is very evident in the case of Nigerian recording artiste, Burna Boy whose resemblance to his mother (who also happens to be his manager) Bose Ogulu is undeniable.

The two seem very close. They post pictures constantly together, and her being his manager, she is very much around him or somewhere nearby at all times. In fact, when Burna Boy won his 2019 BET award for Best International Act, it was his mother, Bose who took the stage to accept the award on behalf of her son. Listening to her talk and the message she preached, fans had no doubts in their mind that Burna Boy truly is a son of his mother.

3. Daniella Okeke

Daniella Okeke makes it a point not to post too much about her family online. But when the Nollywood actress one day decided to post pictures with her mother, her fans were very quick to point out the striking similarity between the two women.

I mean look at them. From the way they smile to the way they pose, these are two women that were definitely cut out from the same cloth.

4. Regina Daniels

If you follow Regina Daniels on social media, then you know that her and her mother, Rita Daniels have a very unique relationship. The two are constantly photographed wearing the same outfits, playing together, sometimes even kissing on the lips.

Because they're this close, it's easy for people to sometimes confuse them for sisters instead of mother and daughter. Talk about a resemblance, not only in looks but also in behavior.

5. Ruth Kadiri

Ruth Kadiri's mother and her look so much alike, they look like sisters. Her mother looks like Ruth's older sister, not her mother, and the similarity between the two women is simply uncanny.

Even in their mannerisms, they're similar. The way they both smile, the way the makeup sits on both of their faces... you don't need a soothsayer to tell you that these two are related.

6. Mayorkun

Mayorkun is another example of a boy who looks very much like his mother. His mother, Toyin Adewale is a Nollywood actress and when you look at the both of them, mother and son, it is undeniable the similarity between the two.

From the dimples on their cheeks to the way their facial features match, it is undeniable that Mayorkun and his mother are cut from the same cloth.

7. Adesua Etomi

Adesua Etomi and her mother are literally like two toys from one box set: coffee and cream. They are perfect complements of the other.

Looking at the both of them side-by-side, it is evident where Adesua gets her beauty from. From the way they both smile, their facial features, even their height, it's all very similar in the best way.

Now that's a resemblance!

8. Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele is a spitting image of her mother. Especially the picture on the bottom left. Look at that resemblance.

From the gap in the teeth, to the way they both smile, these two women are definitely mother and daughter, no doubt!

I guess looking at Funke's mother now, we get a glimpse into what an older Funke Akindele will look like. I must say, she has a bright future to aspire to.

9. Annie Idibia

Annie Idibia literally took all of her mother's features and plastered them on her face. Look at that similarity.

The Nollywood actress likes to flaunt her beautiful mama all over social media and who can blame her?

The two look so uncannily similar. Wow.

10. Chika Ike

When Chika Ike posted a younger picture of her mother on social media, so many fans thought it was a picture of her younger self.

The similarity between Chika and her now-late mother is so uncanny and undeniable.

Even at her older age, the similarity was still there...not as clear as when she was young, but still very apparent.

Definitely two peas in a pod.

THAT'S ALL.

I hope you enjoyed going through this list. Did you agree with the choices I picked? Who did you think looked the most similar? Is there anybody I missed? I'd like to hear your thoughts.
