Yes! You read that right, when you hear the name West Indies, you probably think of a powerful country. Many of you know West Indies because of the cricket team, but West Indies is not a country. Is ? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Let's know, seven thousand islands scattered in the Atlantic Ocean. The name is West Indies, there are only 2% of the human population on these islands, which is about four million. There are 13 independent and 18 subjugated small countries on these seven thousand islands, the West Indies, which extend to the northern coast of South America. Among these countries is Jamaica. , Barbados, Cuba, Haiti, Angola, Dominica, Aruba, Guyana, Saint Kitts, Grenada and Bahamas etc. In 1492 Columbus went in search of the eastern part of the world i.e. India etc. but reached the western part and mistook it for India.
