Wardrobe Essentials for University

You Won't Want to Forget Any of These

A few things that I believe are crucial for living the lifestyle of a University/College student.

Basic Shirts That Match With Anything

No need for crazy patterned shirts that you may only wear once. White, black or grey tops either tight or lose, whatever vibes with your style, are such an easy go to outfit with any bottom and can always be dressed up or dressed down. You'll always look put together – with minimal effort.

Hoodies, Sweatshirts, Sweatpants... Basically Anything Comfy

You're at school...Therefore you're going to be studying – a lot. Whether you're cramming last minute at the library or at home trying to just chill because of all the studying you've been doing...Comfy clothes are a must! You're going to hate yourself if you only bring tight uncomfortable clothing. Honestly, at school, I live in lounge wear.

Workout Gear

"LOL, wishful thinking if you think you'll be seeing me at the gym... EVER." Although you may be saying this to yourself right now, you for sure won't be there if you didn't bring anything to workout in. Exercise is such a vital part of keeping your body healthy while reducing stress and hopefully keeping off that Freshman Fifteen. I would strongly suggest taking advantage of your school's facilities, especially because in most cases... IT'S FREE!

PRO TIP: (You won't be the only one doing this) Wear your workout stuff to class so you are already out and about on campus, and can't give yourself an excuse to not go to the gym.

Going-Out Items...

1. Fancy/Flirty Tops

Although you're a school to learn and go to class, There is definitely an equal amount of fun and social life involved. You're going to want a few of a little more fancy/flirty options for those wild nights out.

2. Shoes! (That You Don't Care About)

I beg of you, please make a small investment in some cheap pairs of sneakers or booties that you really don't care if they get ruined. Trust me, people step on your feet... a lot. You'd also be surprised how it magically becomes more muddy when you go out.

3. Small Cross-Over Body Bag

You don't want to be hanging on to a super expensive bag on a night out. You want something small that's big enough just for ID, Cards/Cash, and maybe some makeup for touching things up. Having a cross-over will also help keep things easily on you at all times, preventing anything from getting stolen.

4. Some Themed Attire

A lot of University/College parties are themed. For example, Ugly Christmas Sweater, Hawaiian Luau, *Any Decade* (80s etc.), And the list goes on. There's no way to know what themes will be given to you, and you may have to go shopping once you're there, but definitely bring anything you think could be wacky enough to work. And who knows, someone else may need it, and you'll be their hero.

Cute Rain Gear

Rain boots, raincoat, and of course an umbrella. Rain or shine, you gotta get to class. Most likely walking. I think this pretty self-explanatory...

Finally...Show Some School Spirit!

Students love to love their schools pretty obnoxiously if we're being real here, but stopping by your campus bookstore will definitely come in handy for events such as Homecoming. If anything, the clothes are usually very comfy and great quality.
