Plane of Jars

if you visit parts of Northern Laos, you'll be lucky to see thousands of lichen covered stone jars from the Iron Age. Each of them measures 10ft tall and weighs several tons. They were carved from sandstone and stood in groups of 400 or more. Legend has it that the giants that lived in the area many years ago use the jars as wine glasses. On the other hand, archaeologists believe theye are funeral urns. However, they still doubt how these objects were moved into the location and how the ancient people produce them. Studies show that the jars date back to early 1240 BC, meaning they're older than the human remains buried there. There needs to be a concrete answer to the origins of these plain jars

Cleopatra's Tomb

For someone as famous as Cleopatra, finding her tomb shouldn't be a big deal, being the last queen of Egypt. She's often associated with Mark Anthony and Julius Caesar, she reportedly committed suicide in 30 BC following her defeat at the Battle of Actium. The location of her tomb is still unknown but researchers believe it's somewhere in Alexandria, her capital city and one-time cultural center of the Mediterranean world the area vanished after a tsunami swept through in 365 A.D. The Strange Disappearance of the USS Cyclops

The Bermuda Triangle is often blamed for many disappearances and deaths in the North Atlantic Ocean. Stories of notable aircraft going missing after flying over the area are common. Although scientists have cleared the air on what happened to those vessels, it's hard to take those thoughts out of the mind. Some cases of disappearances around the location remain unknown. Top on the list is the USS Cyclops Proteus-Class Collier owned by the USS Navy. The Vessel was ordered to fuel British ships in the South Atlantic during World War one but after departing for Baltimore on March 4th 1918, nothing was heard or seen of the ships. All 306 passengers vanished with no Trace. Its disappearance is the largest non-combat loss of life in the history of the U.S Navy.

The Remains of Christopher Columbus

History is incomplete without mentioning Christopher Columbus. While there's so much information online about this man, nothing is known about his burial site. After he died in 1509, his remains continued to travel from one country to another. He was initially buried in Villa Dolan, a Spanish City before he was moved to the Caribbean on the island of Hispaniola. After Spain ceded power to the French in 1759, his remains were transferred to Cuba where it stayed until the Spanish-American War. It was later returned to Spain in 1898. It contained hundreds of artifacts, documents and her remains. The most shocking part of the discovery was her own body remained intact. Researchers even found a small amount of type A blood in her veins and she still had hair and eyelashes. Because science has found a melon in her stomach they guessed that she had died during its season and it could have been her last meal. Her preserved body was thanks to a mysterious liquid her body was soaked in. It was mildly acidic and had some magnesium in it. Scientists have yet to understand the component of this liquid till date.

Who Was Jack The Ripper?

Historians have spent several years studying Jack the Ripper but still can't understand the facts. In 1888, this notorious man murdered and mutilated at least five women in London, he sent several letters to the authorities warning them about searching for him. The letters are still debatable among scholars today. Skeptics says an impersonator may have written them. Years passed and he was never found. There have been many claims to his identity but none are verifiable. For instance, John Morris suggested in his book that Jack the Ripper was a woman named Lizzie Williams. Although experts doubt this is true, they haven't found a more relatable explanation.

The Mysterious Star of Bethlehem

The Star of Bethlehem is one of Christianity's greatest Mysteries. The Story Goes that this mysterious bright star appeared in the sky and led some wise men to baby Jesus. Over 2000 years after the apparition, the bright star sometimes appears over the night skies of Bethlehem as a reminder that the mystery is unanswered. Christians prefer to call it a miracle but scientists interpret it differently, some liken it to an alien's spacecraft, while others say it's not a star but an unseen force taking the form of a star. This occurrence is a subject of intense research with no positive result to justify the time invested. Could it have been a Brighton Nova or a conjunction of two planets forming a temporary new star.

The couple decided they would keep the location of the finding a secret for fear that looters would visit the site. As is the case with similar findings, explorers visited those sites, excavated the valuables and sold them for exorbitant prices. There have been many guesses as to the owner of the Saddle Ridge horn but they all proved incorrect. The U.S government says no information links The Horde to any known theft in the United States Mint Facility. Who owned them and why did they hide them there?

Here's where it gets complicated, when the vessel was seen no human was on it. Before sinking, it carried 25 people. This story has left many puzzled about why the crew didn't stay on the ship or what happened to their bodies.

The Identity of the Babushka Lady

The former American president has not received justice 60 years after. One tricky twist to the story emerged after a 1963 recording showed a woman standing around him while many scampered away. Soon after the mysterious lady disappeared into the crowd, even more strange was that the FBI tried to retrieve the recording to identify this woman but couldn't. In 1970, a woman Beverly Oliver claimed to be the babushka lady but it turned out to be fake. No one knows the lady and if she had a hand in the assassination.

Dancing Plague

Some patients died of heart attacks, exhaustion, or stroke. The illness began when a woman called Frau Troffea started dancing in the middle of the city, more people joined minutes later and the numbers continued to increase until they reached 400. Doctors say the condition had nothing to do with supernatural forces but was caused by hot blood. Rather than treat the patients, they advised them to dance it out. To this day, scientists are unsure what caused the hot blood. They believed that people may have suffered from food poisoning caused by toxic products like ergot fungi.

The year is 1876 and it was an exciting one for residents of Kentucky. While Miss Crouch made soap on her porch, she noticed something weird fall from the sky, it looked like meat but she wanted to confirm what her eyes saw. She looked again and realized it was real. Curious, residents tasted it and confirmed it tasted like a lamb or deer, they believed that God may have sent it from Heaven as he did many years ago. Scientists doubt this explanation after investigating the incident, they say the meat was probably vomited by buzzards who followed suit after seeing one of their companions disgorge himself. While this is not the confirmed theory, it's the closest explanation.
