They make student’s careers shine in the initial stages so that at least they are aware of the fundamental responsibilities.

Some institutions initiate in sports and try to make some good sports-personalities.

They encourage students to fight in life through sports.

There is a risk of colleges giving you wrong impressions of goody-goody life. There will be good facilities and security so students may feel that life outside it is as simple as college life, but we know it is not.

The students will also realize this once they start searching for their career development.

The degree is not a valuable achievement

While studying in school and at colleges, students are not aware of the world outside.

Some students even can’t decide what they want to become because of a lack of dreaming about achievement in life.

Their only target is competing for the education with the maximum possible marks because that is what their parents consistently insist on.

Poor chaps will even don’t know what they can do after graduating with great grades.

This is the reason they become a part of the rat race of life without a set goal.

There are some exceptions but those are countable only. Graduated students start their careers only to realize that what they learn in colleges was a waste.

But most people choose not to be one. Being a teacher is not considered a prestigious one so people do not give it a preference.

This makes the thing simple that your degree is not going to decide your future but your hard work will.

What we learned is not of any use

You can make your basics right with education but it does not guarantee you success.

Moreover, what is needed in a corporate is entirely different than what we learn in colleges.

Companies focus on interpersonal relationships, specific practices, and systems, planning, and results of the performance.

These things are never taught in colleges and we only understand this once we start doing the job.

Education is not the final step

When we study in school and college, we feel that our career will be set once we complete graduation with distinction or high ranks.

There are people out there who will offer us a number of jobs because we have graduated well.

We are exposed to the bitter truth that it was our gross misunderstanding.

But it is not our fault as we are brought up in that way only. Guidance is usually towards improper motives and realization hurts a lot.

Just to remain afloat, we compromise with our dreams and passions and start working as a bull. Instead, if you try upon building your foundation strong by participating in extracurricular activities, joining a student organization, etc. during college days.

Personality Development

Personality development is a skill that is not taught in any college. There are institutions with hefty charges who conduct such courses.

College life is if different kind and it is all about education. One can get good grades or marks by consistent studies and bright memory but personality development is altogether a different ball game.

Few colleges conduct group meetings but students find it difficult to gel with others as at that age they spend time only in their friend circle and not others.

This is also the reason they find it hard to work with other strangers when they start working.

This sudden change makes them uncomfortable and they tend to get confused about how to gel with others.

This is the education that colleges lack to provide because of their particular in-bound courses.

Sharing ideas with others, getting along with other co-workers need a lot of practice and time.

Those who can do it in lesser time have high chances of progress in their success path.

Learning never stops

A student might want to relax once he graduates, but the real tough time lies ahead.

Another thing we don’t learn in colleges is, how to manage the money we make.

Investing the money in a proper way is the thing you learn by experience or from your experts.

Exam success is not a final one

Almost all the schools and colleges teach us to pass the exams and with greater marks.

We only aim to study and memorize things just for the exam and forget everything we learned, later on, immediately many times.

This is not the appropriate method of education because in our professional life we cannot afford to forget the learning right away but we need to remember and implement it on the shop floor.

Forgetting things will not be tolerated in any industry as it is an indication of an inefficient person.

Getting successful in professional life is not similar to passing the exams and not easier too. The real test begins when your professional life starts.

A creative mind lends more success

There are some fields where creativity will give you better success than other qualifications.

Usually, in the Arts and Fashion sections, we will find more exposure.

It is not a general practice to give importance to creativity in the corporate world but nowadays it is becoming a practice gradually.

This is because there are several activities that can need some creative solutions.

Specifically, in the software industry, there is more scope for creativity and such people may lead the groups only because of their creative minds.
