The Whims Of Private Schools

Education is a fundamental right and not in it, as every law and every human rights declaration in the world says. Depriving someone of this right is tantamount to violating the law, because it is through education that a person develops his personal and intellectual development and finds the answers to many questions that arise in his mind. This is why these educational institutions, whether public or private, are highly respected in society.

But this is not the case when education, like other things, is weighed on the scales of profit and loss and its different prices are set in the market and the same thing is happening with private schools in Pakistan. Here children are not considered as students but like a customer who comes to the shop they are sold education only in the form of product and parents also put a burden on their pockets by offering this scheme.

There is no one to ask the management of these private schools. There is no set standard for the tuition fees of these schools. The fee for the smallest school is more than five thousand per month. Admission fee is different. They provide everything from uniforms to pencils and at a much higher rate than the market rate. Despite charging so much, the school administration should provide air-conditioning comfort in the summer Even so, every child has to pay about a thousand or more per month from Kwalag - on the contrary, teachers are given very low salaries. It is very difficult for a common man to meet the expenses of these schools with his meager monthly income. As for the result of the children, the responsibility is shifted on the parents in the same way that the child spends only six hours in school. While the children are not taken care of at home and if the result is good luck then the credit goes to the school children. Now don't put so much burden on the parents !!

It is argued that then why do parents send their children to private schools and do not send them to government schools? No force can force them to do so! Yes, this is true. But the condition of government schools is also in front of our eyes. There are no chairs or tables. And if they are, then the teacher is missing. Unfortunately, the funds allocated for government schools are not spent on them.

And these weaknesses further boost the earnings and whims of private schools. Now in Pakistan, since English also has the status of official language, it has become necessary to write and know English to a certain level. They turn to English schools, whether their resources allow it or not.

Since the owners of these schools have direct or indirect affiliation with political parties, special concessions are made to them. However, Article 2 of the Constitution of Pakistan states that all are equal before the law and the law treats all citizens equally. Eliminate and contribute to quality and equal education of children.

In 2019, the Supreme Court ruled against charging extra fees for private schools, but this is not being implemented. Therefore, the concerned government agency and PEIRA should from time to time inquire about the tuition fees from the management of these schools and fix a certain limit for them which is considered illegal to exceed.

In vacations the students are at home and teachers are not teaching to them but the fees are charges from the parents. Is this right not but if the government rule are not implemented so what should be done by parents. They Cant do anything about ths.

The Government Would need to take action again and the rule is fully and completely implemented.
