đ How Will the World End?
đ How Will the World End? A Truth Too Powerful to Ignore Have you ever looked up at the sky and wondered⊠The bright sun, the glowing moon, the shimmering stars, the blue skies, the rustling winds, the vast oceans, the peaceful mountains â everything seems so permanent, as if itâs been here forever and will remain forever. But hereâs the truth: It will all vanish. This world, where we walk, laugh, cry, and dream â one day, it will return to dust. This isnât a movie plot. This isnât a poetic theory. This is a reality that every major religion speaks of. And Islam â in particular â describes the end of the world in vivid, unforgettable detail. Today, letâs take a journey through that final day â The day when everything changes. The day when the skies collapse, the mountains crumble, and the earth breathes its last. --- đ„ Will the world really come to an end? Every now and then, we see headlines that scream danger: âClimate change may make Earth uninhabitable in 100 years.â âNuclear war could wipe out humanity.â âA black hole is headed toward our galaxy!â But in Islam, the end of the world isnât something man causes â It is a Divine decree. A day known as Yawm al-Qiyamah â the Day of Resurrection. --- đŻ Phase One: The Blowing of the Trumpet The end will begin with a sound so terrifying, so powerful, that it will shake every soul to its core. Angel Israfeel (AS) will blow the trumpet â known in Arabic as As-Soor. > âAnd the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will fall unconscious, except whom Allah wills.â (Qurâan â Surah Az-Zumar 39:68) This is the first blast, known as Saâiqa â the great shock. With this sound, life as we know it will cease. --- đȘ How the World Will Collapse â A Scene That Shakes the Soul Imagine this: The mighty mountains â that have stood tall for millions of years â will be scattered like cotton. The earth beneath us, once calm and firm, will tremble like a fragile leaf in a storm. The sky, so grand and beautiful, will rip apart like a piece of cloth. > âWhen the sky is torn apartâŠâ (Surah Infitar 82:1) âWhen the mountains are made to moveâŠâ (Surah Nabaa 78:20) The stars will fall. The oceans will boil and burst into flame. The sun will be folded up, and darkness will swallow the light. The chaos will be so severe that even a mother will abandon her child, a brother will run from his brother, and each soul will care for nothing but itself. --- đ€Ż Not Just an End â But a Beginning The Day of Judgment is not just the end of the world â Itâs the beginning of something greater. After everything has perished, a second trumpet will be blown. And with it, humanity will be raised again. > âThen it will be blown again, and behold â they will be standing, looking on.â (Qurâan â Surah Az-Zumar 39:68) Every human â even those whose bodies turned to dust centuries ago â will rise again, bare, alone, and frightened⊠with only their deeds in hand. --- â The Day of Reckoning Then comes the ultimate accountability. No more lies, no more masks, no more excuses. > âThis is the Day they will not be able to speak.â (Surah Al-Mursalat 77:35) Every action, no matter how small â every word, every look, every thought â will be laid bare. Your tongue will testify. Your hands will speak. Your eyes will reveal what they saw. Your feet will say where they walked. Even your body will become a witness against you. --- đ° Why Should This Matter to Us? Letâs be honest. In todayâs busy world, who wants to hear about death and the end of time? It feels too heavy, too distant, too uncomfortable. But is ignoring it the solution? Ask yourself: How much time do I really have left on this earth? If the world ended today, would I be ready to stand before my Creator? Is my life aligned with a higher purpose? Islam doesnât mention the end of the world to scare us. It mentions it to wake us up. --- â€ïž A Ray of Hope If the Day of Judgment sounds terrifying, is there any way to be safe? Yes â and thatâs the most beautiful part of this entire message. There is always hope. Allahâs mercy is vast. No matter how far youâve strayed, how many mistakes youâve made â if you return sincerely, He will welcome you back. The Prophet Muhammad ï·ș said: > âThe wise one is he who holds himself accountable and works for what comes after death.â (Tirmidhi) True intelligence isnât in building empires, chasing fame, or collecting wealth. Itâs in preparing for the life that begins after this one ends. --- âš Are You Ready? Pause for a moment. After reading this article, ask your heart: If everything ends today, am I ready to meet my Creator? Have I truly lived a life of meaning and sincerity? If your answer is âNoâ â thatâs okay. Because you still have time. Youâre breathing. Youâre reading this. That means the door of mercy is still open. --- đ The End⊠is a Reminder The destruction of the world is not just a scary story. Itâs a reminder. A reminder that: This life is not forever. This earth is not our final home. Every second is a chance to return to our true purpose. So donât let this reminder fade. Donât bury it under routine, noise, and distraction. Turn back. Reflect. Reset. --- If this article moved you, share it with someone. You never know â maybe your small act of sharing becomes someoneâs turning point. And perhaps, on the Day the world ends, that one act becomes your ticket to eternal peace.

A Lecture of Compassion
In the modern race for academic and professional success, young womenâespecially mothersâare often forced to choose between motherhood and education. For some, the dream of higher education is paused or even ended due to the rigid systems that fail to accommodate the complex realities of their lives. But one university professor from Israel, Sydney Engelberg, stood against this system in the most humane and gentle way possibleâand gave the world a lesson in compassion, equality, and humanity. --- A Cry Heard Around the World The incident happened on an ordinary day. Professor Engelberg, 45 years old at the time, was delivering a lecture to a class of postgraduate students. One of the studentsâa young motherâhad brought her baby to the lecture hall. According to university rules, bringing children into class is discouraged, and understandably so, as it might disrupt the flow of learning. During the lecture, the baby started crying. The mother, visibly embarrassed, immediately prepared to leave the hall to avoid disturbing the class. She didnât want to be a burden, nor break the unwritten rules of the academic space. But what happened next was anything but ordinary. Professor Engelberg didnât express frustration or disapproval. He didnât ask the student to leave. Instead, he gently walked up to her, picked up the crying baby, cradled the child in his arms, and continued his lecture without missing a single beat. The room, once filled with tension, was now filled with awe. --- More Than a Kind Gesture To students witnessing this moment, it was moving. But for those who knew Professor Engelberg, it wasnât surprising. He is well-known for supporting student mothers, encouraging them not just to pursue their education, but to do so proudlyâchildren and all. In fact, his classes have long welcomed student mothers with open arms. Babies being breastfed in class, held quietly during lessons, or even crawling around while lectures continue, are not rare sights in his courses. He believesâfirmly and unapologeticallyâthat "no mother should be forced to choose between her child and her education." Heâs said, "An educated mother is the backbone of a progressive nation. She raises an entire generation." This wasnât just a one-time act. Itâs a philosophy that Professor Engelberg lives by. --- Challenging the System Many educational systems around the world, while intellectually advanced, are not emotionally inclusive. Student mothers often find themselves left behind, either due to lack of support, financial burdens, or social stigma. Some drop out. Some never even try. Professor Engelbergâs small act of kindness sent a powerful message to institutions worldwide: supporting women in education requires empathy, not just policies. His viral photo holding the baby during class sparked global admiration. Social media users called him a "real teacher," a "hero of education," and "a true gentleman." Countless women commented on how they had been forced to leave education after becoming mothersâand how a teacher like Engelberg could have changed their fate. --- What Education Should Look Like In a world that often sees productivity and empathy as incompatible, Professor Engelberg proved otherwise. While holding a baby, he delivered his lecture flawlessly. According to his students, he didnât lose focus or skip any points. His message was simple: "Education is not disturbed by compassion. It is enhanced by it." This is what education should look like: Inclusive, not isolating. Supportive, not shaming. Flexible, not rigid. Human, not just intellectual. --- The Bigger Picture This is more than a feel-good story. Itâs a call to action. Institutions must reflect on how they treat mothers, especially those trying to break the cycle of poverty or lack of education. Governments, educators, and communities must provide childcare facilities, flexible schedules, and emotional support for these women. We cannot afford to let talent, dreams, and future changemakers fade away because the system lacks heart. --- One Baby, One Gesture, One Legacy Professor Sydney Engelberg didnât plan to go viral. He didnât make a speech. He didnât demand recognition. He just saw a mother struggling and decided to helpânot with pity, but with respect. And in that moment, as the baby calmed down in his arms and the lecture continued, he wasnât just teaching a university class. He was teaching the world. --- đŹ Letâs Talk About It Have you ever witnessed or experienced support like this in an educational or professional setting? How do you think institutions can better support student mothers? Share your thoughts below. Letâs make this a space where empathy meets action.
