There Is No Box
Let’s talk about boxes, particularly ones that do not exist. Somewhere in the collective consciousness of the power-player creatives of theatre, a box of stereotypical conventionality exists. A creative that breaks away from this conventionality is thinking “outside of the box.” But if one must think outside of the box to establish any semblance of creative individualism, why are we allowing the confining box to decide our choices for us in the first place?

Sherrikka Myers
I had the honor of interviewing Sherrikka Myers, the Founder of Every 1 Voice Matters, and I can honestly say that I am so blown away at hearing where Sherrikka came from to the confidence she now has, and how her bravery was not suppressed by anyone on her journey to helping others who suffer with stuttering. As a young child, Sherrikka herself dealt with stuttering, shame, embarrassment and self-esteem issues, but in talking to her today, you would never know! Her personality radiates with confidence, patience, and a true love for what she is doing. Read on as Sherrikka talks about how far her organization has come, with now being booked nationally, creating a book series, a YouTube Series, holding classes and being a certified life coach! Sherrikka is so down to earth and easy to talk to, and through her creativity, she has been able to push forth and create a mascot for her company to help children relate and feel comfortable with working through their difficulties as well.

Trainee Teachers- securing your first role
At this time of year, even in the best of times, it is normal for trainee teachers to start panicking about not securing that vital first role for September. Its not helped that these are certainly not the best of times! While the temptation might be to keep banging out application after application this probably isn't the best approach and could, potentially, lead to more anxiety should another rejection email come through (or worse never hearing again from the school). There are, however, some things you can to do help you succeed or, at the very least, take some of the pressure off yourself.

About Me / Q&A
Hey there guys! I'm Simran from the studygram @studywithss on IG, and I'm currently in year 12, going into year 13 in September this year. I want to pursue a career in banking in the future, and I am thinking of doing an Economics degree at university. My ideal university would be London School of Economics (LSE), however, I have a couple others in my top 5 too.
