Degrees defined: PhD, Master, Bachelor, Associate–all about that expensive piece of paper called your degree.
Principle of Education
Education is an important internal resource that some see as not for them without realizing its great potential for opening many doors of opportunities. The term "Education" is described through a variety of different definitions. One specific definition, the act or process of general knowledge and developing the powers of reasoning and judgement, closely identifies with my idea of education and how I perceive it. Still, it’s so much more to defining the term education, besides the books. I see it as expanding one’s knowledge through perception and understanding of the things around you. I believe education begins the moment our parents begin teaching us how to talk and walk and everything else that is taught to us before we reached school age.

Why the Cost of Knowledge
I like going to school. However, the conflict between me and school, specifically college education, is the expense of attendance. I mean there is nothing quite like gaining knowledge that no one can ever take from you, right? In a class of 200 plus students with one instructor, quite classic huh? A good number of us graduated high school and got accepted into a university or college, wonderful right? For what feels like a minute of dreams coming true turns into nightmare with all the money your swimming in owing the sharks, owned by the sharks. So is it worth it after the four years? With your degree in hand, resume, and decent credentials you get a job and a set pay for your knowledge only to pay for your gained knowledge simultaneously for the next thirty years, living the American Dream, correct?

After five years of sorrow, deadlines, super hectic timetables, loveless love life, meaningless jobs, sleepless nights, tasteless meals, moneyless wallets, and sugarless coffee, you finally made it. Now it is the time of your life, the time for you to shine, earn money, and go to an expensive holiday somewhere with an exotic two-word name.

An International Graduate: The Disappointing Dream
On the 11th of July, I was due to be graduating with an MSc in Business Management. I am Moroccan and I have had a Moroccan public education for most of my life up until high school, where I graduated with a somewhat embarrassing score. A lot of public Moroccan universities would not accept me. Thus, I looked outside the box and found an affiliate university that provided a British education with a Cardiff Metropolitan degree from the comfort of your own country.

How Do You Find Your Unique Niche?
Where Does Your Niche Lay? What is Your Niche? I have more to say about your niche in life, and I want to start with the definition of a niche. A niche can mean a couple of things that are entirely different. A niche means much more to the animal species and human beings alike. A niche is much more than a way to make a living or a place to dwell.

Post Graduation
Somebody, anybody, please well me why it has to be so hard? Finding a job even entry level to begin my career is probably going to be the death of me. I graduated from college in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration. No one told me that it would be so difficult to find a job, let alone an internship, once I was done. But then again, no one told me how quickly the people would be begin to call wanting to know when and how you would be paying back student loans. When I was in high school, the guidance counselor stressed us so hard about preparing for college. My high school was a preparatory academy so not going to college was not an option for the students that attended. Even if it was a community college. They made sure that we had every option. They made sure that we were prepared for the SAT and ACT. They also made sure that we had numerous college representatives coming to speak to us. Everyone boasted about how great their campus was and what the school could do for you. I’m sure we have all been there. Ever noticed how they never speak about the cost or the chances of finding a job once you have completed your studies? They never spoke of it and my counselor also failed to mention that it would be extremely difficult to begin your career post-graduation. “College is going to be a great experience for you.” Wrong! My college experience was AWFUL! I exhibited the most depressive moments when I was at college. It wasn’t until I left the incredibly expensive four-year university and resumed my studies online that I felt some peace and comfort with the whole college experience.

Is Music a Good Choice for a Major?
My Journey of Picking Music as My Major in College In high school, I knew my passion was singing. I would look forward to chorus, I quit the cheerleading team to be in the musical and some of my favorite moments were when we would be waiting for rehearsal and we would start singing a cappella all in harmony and melody... it was beautiful.

10 Things No One Told Me About Art School
I pretty much applied to Art School on a whim. It was my freshman year in college, and I was miserable at the uppity private school I was attending. I knew I needed to transfer out. Already under crippling student debt, I searched through the programs at the state university near my hometown and found they had a Visual & Performing Arts College within the university. I had taken a few film photography classes and I fell in love with photography. So, when I found a photography program, I put together a portfolio and applied to the program and by the end of the semester, I had been accepted. But, the truth is, I really had no idea what I was getting into. While my overall experience in art school has been positive, there are some things I wish someone had told me before I had committed to the program.
