An Overview of Master of Artificial Intelligence at Victoria University in Wellington

The Master in Artificial Intelligence course in Victoria University of Wellington will help you to gain a demonstrate concepts and techniques of Artificial Intelligence. You will acquire skills to build AI tools with a wide range of applications and the ability to solve real world problems across sectors. The course is the first of its kind in the country. You will study with a group of 50 researchers and students that are working on cutting edge AI and it’s knowledge and development.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Master of Artificial Intelligence

To pursue this course, there are certain criteria to get admission. There are academic as well as language proficiency criteria that will determine your eligibility to study the course. The criteria include a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related subject with a score of B as average in the relevant final courses. You will also have to be accepted by the head of school as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.

As an international student you will also have to provide proof of English Language proficiency. The criteria for different exams include minimum overall score of 6.5 with no subject below 6.0 in IELTS Academic, for TOEFL the minimum score is 90 for the internet-based test and 20 in writing. For PTE the minimum score is 58 with a communicative score of not less that 50. For EAP, you need a minimum final score of 4,4,5,5. For Cambridge English Qualifications you should have C1 advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or above or at least 169. You can give any of these tests to complete the language proficiency requirements.
