Hey guys. I'm a high school dropout and now i'm 17 years old and i am looking forward to join military service, but i got some doubts about it. i want to know, can high school dropouts join the military in 2020? Or will they build up their conscripts with high school graduates only?

Please be so kind and give me your opinions and recommendations.

Yes, high school dropouts can join the military in 2020.

The enlistment process is the same for high school dropouts as it is for high school graduates.

If you want to join the military and don't have a high school diploma, you may be able to enlist in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP). The DEP allows potential recruits to take their GED or other equivalency tests while waiting to enter basic training. The enlistment process is the same for high school dropouts as it is for high school graduates.

You'll need to pass a physical exam, have a valid Social Security card and birth certificate and meet any other requirements for your chosen branch of service. Once you've been accepted into the DEP, you'll receive further instructions on how to begin your military career.

Not having a diploma could affect your career prospects in the military.

The answer to this question is not as straightforward as you may think. While it is true that you can join the military without a high school diploma, you will have to take some extra steps to qualify for enlistment. The military doesn't require a high school diploma at the time of enlistment, but it does require you to have a GED or pass the ASVAB test to enter basic training.

If you do not have either of these things, then you must first go back and get your high school diploma before being able to enlist. If you don't want to wait for your diploma and are ready for basic training right away, then there are other options available for you, such as joining the Army Reserve or National Guard.

If you are interested in joining the Navy or Marine Corps and do not have a diploma or GED, then there are still ways for you to serve your country without one. One option that is often overlooked is joining the Navy Hospital Corpsman Program (HM). This program allows high school dropouts who are interested in serving their country through medical care but don't want to become doctors or nurses could choose instead of going into nursing school which requires an associates degree.

You can get your ged while you're enlisted but you won't be paid for the time it takes.

If you're in the military and want to get your GED, there are some good things and some bad things. Let's start with the bad. First, you won't be paid for your time while you're doing it. You're an enlisted member of the military so they expect you to spend that time doing your job at work or training for it.

This means that if you're working on your GED and need to go out on a mission or training, you won't get paid for those hours until after you return from your mission or training. So if it takes you six months to finish the GED program, then six months later they'll pay you back all those hours.

Second, there's no guarantee that just because you finish your GED that they'll promote you or let you reclassify into another MOS (Military Occupational Specialty). If they think that having a high school diploma is important for your job then they may do this anyway but it doesn't hurt to ask about it before starting down this path.

For an 18-year-old with no degree, the navy offers a generous bonus if you enter a specific job field.

The important thing is to be honest about your education history during the recruitment process.

The US Army reserves the right to reject any recruit, regardless of their education, who fails to meet its minimum requirements. The minimum required score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is 50 out of a possible 99 points. This is the same for all branches of the military.

A high school diploma or GED is not required in order to join the US Army. However, you must be able to pass the ASVAB with a minimum score of 50 in order to join any branch of service. If you're not able to pass this test, you may still be able to enlist if you have an associate's degree or two years of college with at least a C average in your major area of study.

You may also qualify if you have completed one year of college and received high grades in math, science and English classes.

In conclusion

Hi there. I'm Mike, an Army veteran and former paratrooper (101st Airborne Division) turned entrepreneur. A little about my background – I only had a high school degree, but I wanted to join the military and quickly realized that if I was going to be successful, I needed to get my GED.

It was a tough decision, but one that ultimately helped me make a better out of the military.
