The final decisive step that the IAS aspirants need to clear to get their dream job is the Interview Round. Once your prelims and mains are over, you need to start your IAS Interview preparation. Don't wait around for your results.

Well, the format is undoubtedly different, but the path to success remains the same. You not only need to work hard but also smart. Take mock interviews, eat healthy, stay fit, and calm.

Things to Remember

● Your answers should be balanced and unbiased.

● Do not fake your personality.

● Do not lie. Answer honestly. Phony conversations never lead to anything good.

Profile Related- Candidates are often asked about their homeland, academic, professional experience, pastimes, and likes and dislikes.

Situational Questions- Situational questions are asked to analyze the candidate's credibility as a bureaucrat and their decision-making ability in different situations.

Behavioral Questions- Behavioral questions are asked to assess the candidate's personality. They check whether the candidate can stay calm while handling such questions.

Current Affairs Related- Candidates are typically asked about current affairs over the last three months

Ansar Ahmad Shaikh is the youngest to clear UPSC Civil Services. He is the son of an auto-rickshaw driver. In 2015 he attempted at the age of 21 and secured a rank of 361.

In 2013 Roman Saini attempted the IAS Exam for the first time and secured 18th rank at the young age of 22. However, he quit his job in January 2015 to solely concentrate on his endeavor Unacademy.
