………On The Road….On The Road…..On The Road…….On The Road………On The Road…………….
“Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?” Paul Gauguin
On The Road
Coming from saying my very last goodbye to a dying, very good friend.
On The Road
Coming from somewhere and quickly going to somewhere else
On The Road
Carefully, watching for the afternoon traffic while I cross the road, on green
On The Road
Coming from somewhere I have already forgotten about
On The Road
Going somewhere I can no longer recall
On The Road
Blinded by the unrelenting thick raindrops, falling all around me, drowning the place
On The Road
Going by car from New York City all the way to LA with a few friends
On The Road
Travelling alone by car from LA all the way to New York City
On The Road
Walking past the endless enraged traffic jam going nowhere, anytime soon
On The Road
Coming from somewhere very special and going to nowhere in particular
On The Road
Constantly, irritatingly, stumping my feet, on the many worn-out patches within it
On The Road
Looking at the young jogger breezily sprinting past me, as if I do not exist
On The Road
Passing by the workers busily digging up, a broken pipe, in the middle of it
On The Road
A violent fight breaks out between various angry men standing on the sidewalk
On The Road
Walking with only the surrounding dark brown trees, to keep my company
On The Road
Holding hands with my latest girlfriend on our way to an interesting play
On The Road
As, the hearse and two accompanying cars, quietly pass by me, no one cares
On The Road
Just coming back from having a very good time with my latest girlfriend
On The Road
As, an angry feminist demonstration, stops traffic, and demands full attention
On The Road
A happy young family with their new born baby safely strapped in the backseat
On The Road
The screaming ambulance brightly lights up the night in the fading colors of red
On The Road
Surrounded, in winter by all of the trees, stripped bare, of their various clothing
On The Road
On a mercilessly and a nearly paralyzing hot summer day, here in Silver Spring
On The Road
Driven to the very steep and quite dangerous edges of it by the constant traffic
On The Road
Driving around and around with my young son, in Los Angeles, strapped in the back seat, going nowhere really while desperately trying to get him to go to sleep, he looks at me and he smiles.
On The Road
In the middle of an endless traffic jam, with the various horns of the many different cars, vans, busses and trucks, surrounding all of us, intensely blazing in a deadening heat and in a deafening fury.
……….On The Road…………..On The Road………….On The Road…….On The Road……..On The Road
