Candidates who want to take the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) have a better chance of being accepted into the management program. NMAT scores are required for admission to the MBA programs. Candidates must register for the NMIMS MBA program prior to their NMAT by GMAC scheduled exam date in order to be considered for admission to the management program.

Key changes in NMIMS admission guidelines

No late registration deadline and no late fee: Candidates cannot apply after the registration deadline, even though retake choices are still available. They still have two retake opportunities to improve their available score.

1 - Longer testing period: The NMAT 2023 testing period is 75 days.

2 - Negative marking in NMAT 2023: The NMAT question paper will not contain any negative marking.

3 - Changes in questions: The NMAT 2023 exam will have 108 questions as opposed to the previous year's 120 questions, although the exam duration remains unchanged (120 minutes).

4 - Section wise weightage: This year, all three portions of the NMAT 2023 are given the same weighting.

5 - NMAT scorecard: After the test, candidates can access the facility to evaluate their results right away and print an official scorecard within 48 hours of the exam. The NMAT 2023 scorecards are available for download after the NMAT exam.

6 - Online or offline mode: There are two testing options available to candidates. Either they can take the exam in person at a testing facility using social distance protocols, or they can take the online proctored exam from the convenience of their home.

Procedures for NMIMS MBA admission 2023-2024

Registration for NMAT by GMAC, registration at NMIMS, selection procedure, document submission, and fee payment are all part of the Narsee Monjee Mumbai admissions process. Candidates seeking admission to NMIMS must first register on the official website.

Step 1: NMIMS 2023 Application Process:

Applicants who want to apply for MBA from NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) must fill out an online application form and then pay an application fee using a credit/debit card or net banking. They must visit www.nmat.org to register online and finish the registration process by paying the registration fee to complete the NMAT application process.

Step 2: Apply to NMIMS

Before continuing with the NMIMS application, the NMAT by GMAC test registration and payment must be completed. For this, candidates must visit www.nmims.edu with their NMAT (by GMACTM) registration number to finish the application procedure.

Step 3: The Selection Procedure

The next phase is to narrow down the applicants for the next round. Candidates will be chosen in this round based on their NMAT sectional and total scores. Following that, for the final shortlisting process, NMIMS will perform a psychometric test or Written Analytic Test (WAT) as well as a personal interview.

Step 4: Document Submission

Selected candidates must present the following documents throughout the admissions process;

Class 10th marksheet and passing certificate

Class 12th marksheet and passing certificate

Degree (UG/PG) marksheets and certificate

Provisional degree certificate

Migration certificate

AIU certificate (Mandatory)

Eligibility certificate (If required)

Work experience certificate

Step 5: Pay the Fee

Shortlisted candidates must then pay the admission fee to secure their places. The call letter will not be emailed. The call letter will be announced on the dashboard for students.
