Bihar Public Service Commission conducts Judicial Services Exam to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Magistrates, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Civil Judges, etc. for Bihar High Courts. Law graduates can apply for the posts released in BPSC Judicial Services Recruitment. BPSC has announced recruitment for 221 vacancies for Bihar Judicial Services. Interested candidates should utilize this opportunity to the fullest as it is getting difficult to secure a Government job day by day.

Candidates have to apply online for the same on the official website of the Commission before the last date of the application.

Apply for BPSC Judicial Services Recruitment

Follow the below steps to apply for the same:

  • Go to the official website of BPSC, https://onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in/main/home.
  • Register yourself to BPSC. Provide your mobile number, email id and other required credentials to create a Registration ID.
  • You can fill the application form after a successful registration.
  • Select BPSC Judicial Services from all the examinations mentioned on the website.
  • Fill your information in the respective columns. Make sure you provide the correct details else it may cause you trouble later in future.
  • Upload your recent passport size photograph, educational certificates, scanned signatures and any other required documents.
  • After filling the form, move to the payment page. The payment is to be made online as well.
  • Pay the application fee through your desired mode of payment.
  • Download the application form after successful payment.
  • You can also print the BPSC Judicial Services application form for your future reference.

Application fee for BPSC Judicial Services Recruitment

  • Your application will not be considered by the Commission if you don’t pay the application fee.
  • The application fee for candidates belonging to general category is Rs 600.
  • For candidates belonging to the SC/S(residents of Bihar)T category, it is Rs 150.
  • The application fee for females and differently-abled persons who are residents of Bihar is Rs 150 as well.

BPSC Judicial Services Recruitment Selection Process

The selection process is divided into three phases. Candidates have to clear all the stages with a good score to make it to the top of the merit list and ensure their selection. The phases of selection are as follows:

Preliminary Exam: This exam will be written and objective in nature. The candidates will be provided with MCQs. The syllabus for the exam will be General Awareness and Law.

The candidates who will qualify the Preliminary exam will be eligible to take the mains exam. The qualifying marks for General category are 45%, whereas, for Reserved categories, it is 40%.

Mains Exam: The Mains Exam will also be written and the syllabus includes General Studies and Languages. Candidates have to score 30 marks in the Language section to qualify for the next stage. There will be qualifying marks for the entire score as well.

Interview: The final phase of the process is the interview. It will evaluate your practical knowledge and aptitude.

BPSC Judicial Services Results

The Results of the Preliminary Stage are expected to be announced in September 2020. The Commission will select candidates 10 times of vacancies for the Mains Exam. The Mains Result will also be declared a few weeks after the Mains Exam. The Results will be declared on the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission.

Along with the results, the final merit list and cut-offs will also be released by the Commission. Candidates are advised to check the previous year cut-offs to get an idea and prepare accordingly for the exam.

To check the BPSC Judicial Services Results, follow the steps below:

1) Visit the official site of BPSC only to check your Results.

2) Select Marksheets in the menu at the left corner.

3) Select BPSC Judicial Services.

4) Enter your credentials like Roll No. and DOB.

5) Click on submit and your mark sheet will open up on the screen.

6) You can download and print it as well.
