Hi, my name is Ravit Rose. I am the Founder of the Divorce by Rose Community App and I am pleased to be sharing with you this course called: Logically Planning Your Divorce.

When I got divorced 10 years ago, I did not logically plan anything. I learned things the hard way and, I can tell you one thing for sure… we don’t know how to marry and we certainly don’t know how to divorce either, until someone points it out to you.

The way I see it, you have two choices right now. Either you can follow your emotions and your thoughts and think you’ve got this and think you’ve got it “figured out”, go through the roller coaster ride on your own until you learn the errors you’ve made and adapt to those errors.

Or, you could surround yourself with a neutral team of divorce professionals who are there to guide you, direct you and provide you with wisdom and experiences to help you make this rollercoaster ride a lot easier so that you could get to your plateau a lot faster.

One of the most important things that I always mention is that; whether you’re a parent who’s contemplating divorce or a newly separated and debating.. Should I stay married or should I get divorced… You have to learn to remove the emotions from the equation and start thinking logically and methodically. I know that it’s very hard because you’re going through a lot of thoughts, concerns, worries and anxieties right now, plus staying up at night, thinking over and over again and you probably don’t even know where to start.

This course is a 15-page analysis that gets you thinking bigger than you’re thinking right now. What it does also is that it soothes and calms the nerves and emotions. Why? Because, a lot of stuff that’s happening is happening in your head- has it even happened in reality yet?

The second thing is that you’re walking into unknown territory and you’re worried as to “What is going to happen?”, “How’s it going to happen?”, “How am I going to do this?”, and “How am I going do that?”, “What about the kids?”, “What about finances?”, and “What about that?”.

The thing is, divorce is not about just finances, custody and kids. There is so much more that you need to do and think about, especially when you’re at the planning stages of debating to stay married or get divorced. If you’re newly separated and you haven’t started talking about details yet, this is the best exercise to take.

First, take some time for yourself, analyze your life and where you are going - to create a mock-up of your post-divorce life so you have an idea of what you’re about to face. After you do this exercise, you’re going to see! Your nerves are going to calm a lot and it’s going to make sense to you- it’s going to look like a picture and look like a mock-up of your life where you will say “Oh! This is what my life is going to look like?”. “If that’s the case, I want to tweak it a bit because I kind of don’t like this piece so, what I’m going to do is replace it with something else”.

Now that you’re in the planning phase, this is the best time to be making these decisions because that’s what’s going to help you alleviate the stress and the tension of the unknown. You’re going to create this world and the new life that you’re looking for. Whether you decide to stay married after this exercise and say to yourself “You know what?! Divorce is not the right thing! Or, it doesn’t make any sense! After doing this exercise, I’ve realized that this is not the right thing for me.”
