Message from our teachers

Whether in the starry sea of knowledge and innovation or the vast world of business practice, set an example and contribute the wisdom of the Fudan people to the prosperity of our country.

I hope that you will still retain the aspirations and visions you had when you came to Fudan, and that you will be able to determine the difference between inside and outside, and distinguish between honor and disgrace so that you can go forward without fail.

I hope that your future path in life will not be smooth and smooth, but that there will be no way out at the end of the mountain and a village in the dark. Every time you see the wonders of life in a desperate situation, unintentionally experience the landscape of life. Then I think this is a wonderful life, but also a lucky life.

In scientific research, the most beautiful formulas are usually the simplest, so I hope students will refer more to the simplest truths in their complex or diverse lives.

You have to think bigger than yourself because not everyone has such an ability, and you are a small part of our society that may think bigger than yourself in the future. I hope that you will want to do something beyond satisfying your material conditions or professional goals.

I borrowed Hemingway's line of praise for Paris to each of our students: If you studied at Fudan or Fudan School of Management when you were young, then no matter where you go, it will stay with you for a lifetime, just like a floating feast.

I regret that I was not able to get together with you all because of the epidemic. It is important to play the entrepreneurial spirit to get through the epidemic peacefully. There are many things that you can't envision in advance, you just have to be able to overcome one difficulty after another by opening the way in every mountain and building bridges in every water. The experience of the past two years will surely give you a good experience and prepare you more for your future life.

First of all, congratulations to all students for their successful graduation, which is a very difficult achievement in life. I am pleased to send you a message about your graduation. Due to the epidemic, our program has had a difficult time moving forward, but the camaraderie between our universities remains strong. We hope that, in the future, we will restart a better collaboration.

As a professor of international business and economics, the last piece of advice I would like to give you is to make the most of your strengths. As an Asia MBA S3 graduate, you are now expert an in Asian economies and I believe you know both the Chinese and Korean economies very well, and there are a lot of great business opportunities to be had by building links between China and Korea!
