The John Wick franchise has been a massive success since the release of the first film. It is an action-packed series that revolves around John Wick, a retired hitman who gets drawn back into the criminal underworld following the death of his wife. The first three films in the series were a massive hit, and many thought that the franchise would not be able to sustain its momentum for much longer. However, John Wick: Chapter 4 has proven that the franchise still has plenty of life left in it.

The movie picks up where John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum left off. John Wick is still on a mission to take down the High Table, a group of ruthless crime lords. However, he is now excommunicado and has a $14 million bounty on his head. The High Table has also unleashed the Marquis de Gramont, played by Bill Skarsgård, to hunt him down. Wick must travel to different cities to fight his way to freedom.

One of the main reasons why John Wick: Chapter 4 is such a great movie is the new cast of characters. Keanu Reeves returns as John Wick and delivers a fantastic performance, as expected. However, the film belongs to the newcomers, particularly Bill Skarsgård and Donnie Yen. Skarsgård plays the primary antagonist, the Marquis de Gramont, and delivers a performance that is both loathsome and captivating. He is a spoiled tyrant who wears an assortment of luxurious suits, and he is determined to rid the world of John Wick.

Donnie Yen, on the other hand, plays the role of Caine, a blind assassin who is sent to kill John Wick. Yen is a legendary martial artist, and he brings his skills to the movie. Caine has a lot in common with John Wick, and the two of them have a complex relationship. When they fight, it is nothing short of explosive.

The rest of the cast is also outstanding. Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane return as the Bowery King and Winston, respectively, and they continue to deliver great performances. Hiroyuki Sanada plays Shimazu, the manager of the Osaka Continental, and he brings a deep sense of gravitas to his role. Pop star Rina Sawayama plays Akira, Shimazu's daughter and concierge, and she exudes ruthless amounts of cool.

Of course, the action sequences in John Wick: Chapter 4 are phenomenal. The movie features some of the best action scenes in the entire franchise. The fight choreography is excellent, and the movie incorporates a variety of fighting styles, including gun-fu, archery, and full-on MMA brawls. The swordfights are particularly effective whenever Yen and Sanada are on screen.

Director Chad Stahelski is one of the best action filmmakers working today, and he continues to impress with this movie. The last hour of the film is particularly impressive, with an extended fight sequence that takes place in a Parisian apartment. The sequence uses a god's eye view to guide the audience through the battle playing out below. There is also a car chase and shootout around the Arc de Triomphe that is an adrenaline rush like no other.

In conclusion, John Wick: Chapter 4 is a fantastic movie that is sure to please fans of the franchise. The movie delivers on all fronts, from the action sequences to the performances. Keanu Reeves is as great as ever, and the new cast members, particularly Bill Skarsgård and Donnie Yen, are excellent additions to the series. Chad Stahelski continues to prove that he is one of the best action filmmakers working today. Overall, John Wick: Chapter 4 may be
