IMPORTANCE OF AI

Three years ago, if someone had told me that a computer could help write articles, translate languages, solve engineering problems, create digital art, and even help people earn money online, I would have laughed. It sounded like something from a science fiction movie rather than reality.

Today, I no longer laugh.

Instead, I begin almost every morning by opening an AI assistant.

Like millions of people around the world, I never planned to become dependent on artificial intelligence. It simply became part of my daily routine. At first, I used it for small tasks—checking grammar, finding information, or understanding difficult concepts from my engineering courses. Gradually, I realized it could do much more than answer questions. It became a learning partner, a brainstorming companion, and sometimes even a source of motivation when I felt stuck.

One afternoon, I was struggling with an assignment that involved complex electronic circuits. After spending hours reading textbooks, I still couldn't understand the difference between several components. Frustrated, I asked an AI assistant to explain the topic in simple English. Within seconds, I received an explanation that felt as though a patient teacher were sitting beside me.

That moment changed my perspective.

The AI didn't replace my education—it improved it. Instead of giving up, I understood the concepts and completed my assignment with confidence.

Soon after, I discovered another opportunity.

People were earning money online by creating blogs, designing Pinterest content, writing product descriptions, and generating creative ideas. Many beginners struggled because they didn't know how to write professionally. AI became a bridge between ideas and execution. It helped people organize their thoughts, improve their writing, and communicate more effectively.

Of course, the work still required human effort. AI could generate drafts, but creativity, judgment, and originality still belonged to the person using it.

This is an important distinction that many people misunderstand.

Some believe artificial intelligence will replace humans completely. Others fear it will eliminate every job. History suggests otherwise. Every major technological revolution—from the steam engine to the internet—changed the job market, but it also created new opportunities.

AI is following the same path.

However, every powerful invention comes with responsibility.

AI can also generate false information, fake images, and misleading videos. It can spread misinformation within minutes if people use it carelessly. This is why critical thinking has become more valuable than ever. Instead of believing everything we see online, we must verify facts, question sources, and use AI ethically.

Technology itself is neither good nor bad.

Its impact depends on the intentions of the people using it.

Imagine giving a hammer to two different people. One builds a house. The other breaks a window. The hammer is the same; only the user changes the outcome.

Artificial intelligence works the same way.

The most inspiring part of AI is not that it can answer questions. It is that it gives ordinary people extraordinary opportunities. A student in a small town can access knowledge once available only in prestigious universities. A small business owner can create professional marketing materials without hiring an expensive agency. A writer facing creative block can find fresh inspiration. Someone learning a new language can practice conversations at any time of the day.

These opportunities were unimaginable just a decade ago.

Still, AI should never replace curiosity. It should encourage it.
