Ningbo walking book was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage as early as 2008, and Huatai Primary School invited Wan Guochun, an intangible heritage-bearer of Ningbo walking book, to hold classes at the school to teach the children about this traditional culture which is about to be lost. Wang Yuming is recognized as the best singing student in the club, talking about the original intention of learning this traditional culture, the young boy said his heart, "because this is non-heritage, we have the responsibility to inherit and carry forward."

Over the past few years, the art and culture atmosphere at Huatai Elementary School has become stronger and stronger. The "Seven Hearts Evaluation Method" is based on the comprehensive quality levels and personality characteristics that students of different age groups should achieve in seven aspects: moral quality, civic qualities, learning ability, communication and cooperation, sports and health, aesthetics and performance, and practice and operation, and the annual "six-month growth sequence" and six-year "30-year growth sequence" are formulated by year group.
