Yes, I have been a teacher in a small school for twenty-four years - how many twenty-four years can one have in one's life?

Because I am a teacher, a parent of students, and more importantly, an alien to this commercialized reality - a mute, ordinary person who does not want to put his soul up for sale - I can hear voices that others cannot.

However, those outside my profession as a teacher are not willing to believe the voices I hear, and they are consciously living well in the flood of the times - a time to go with the flow.

One of the fragments

Just after entering the office early in the morning, a teacher of some sort began to complain desperately about a student whose parents had started calling him at seven o'clock in the morning.

The central idea of the call was to complain about the teacher: yesterday, in some activities of posing for the production of public, video and beauty articles again in the school, there was no child of his own among the selected students; his child was very unhappy when he came home, and this practice of the teacher had seriously discouraged his child.

I don't know how this teacher responded to the incident, I just know that she brought it up as an outrageous thing to bring up in the office as fodder.

All the teachers were making the usual mockery and ridicule of the fact that parents of students are becoming more and more difficult and unpleasant these days, and that they are always trying to find ways to get teachers into trouble and plant charges against them no matter what.

A certain elderly female teacher in the same class with this teacher said while mocking: "You are just a little too nice to these things, too let them loose! I, for example, once told her parents that I had scolded her after a certain student came home, and I immediately called her parents to school - 'Or let's ask the class how I scolded her?' Her mother immediately apologized."

Things like this are very complicated.

First, it is a fact that parents of students are now a stumbling block in education. Otherwise, the issue of setting up a "parent school" would not be on the table.

Second, specifically, in this case, the teacher who broke the news is not a good person, she just wants to use this incident to establish an image: their classroom parents are very naughty. As long as such an image is established, their classroom governance works to have more shine.

Thirdly, the old female teacher who was in the same class as her told how she coped with this kind of thing, which required a high level of "emotional intelligence" and was not something that honest teachers could emulate. The parents of those students are often the masters of "reading people's minds": when it comes to honest teachers, they bully; when it comes to "high emotional intelligence" teachers will close their fangs and tails.

However, then again, that old female teacher's response, in the current view, against the "tricky" parents of students is indeed very effective - human nature, very despicable, often "poison against poison The phenomenon of "fighting fire with fire" happens.

Recently, the school WeChat group suddenly appeared a notice: if the teachers of poor housing conditions can apply for low-cost housing, the school unified assistance.

The news made every "hilltop" in the school excited, and the leaders and minions of each "hilltop" began to consult with the small boss in charge of this matter.

Of course, before he took up the post of the boss, he was also a member of the "mountain"; now that he is a boss, although he is still in close contact with those people, he does not dare to treat the work completely as his own business - he does not have That courage.

As for the low-cost housing issue, there will be some cynical "mountain" from which the benefits, belong to the "God knows you know I know" thing, here do not speculate.

A certain female teacher was recruited to this school through a recruitment examination (in fact, the recruitment examination is permeated with a considerable part of "nepotism"), and her residence is very far from the school, on the outskirts of the city.

She wanted to apply for such housing, she said: anyway, my house, the head of the family name are my parents, I do not have housing!

She was also advised: "Yes, you can apply for one, even if you don't live there, you can rent it to others and get a profit! I heard that some teachers operate this way!

But there was also the news that each teacher could only apply for about 15 square meters, which kinda discouraged her.

Inadvertently, this teacher said, "I envy the school next to my house. Every morning, I ride my bike half a minute out of my house and I pass that school! If I worked at that school, I wouldn't even have to think about going to work!"

Immediately, a teacher said, "Haha, then you apply to go back to work at that school!"

The office burst into laughter, and everyone knew it: that school was located on the outskirts of town and was not as attractive in every way as this school.

She immediately said, "I'm not going to that school, it's even more garbage than our school!"

Someone in the office laughed again, "Haha, why did you use the word 'more'? Are you saying that our school is also trash?"

The office was filled with a happy atmosphere, like a scene from one of Lu Xun's articles.

The school's secondary BOSS began to nominally schedule a few classes this year after not attending classes for over a decade. Everyone in the education industry understands the problem: he is ready to take on the title of "professor".

Speaking of which, isn't one of the requirements for the title of "professor" "to have taught in the front line for a certain period"? Then simply arrange a few classes symbolically to make it meet the standard requirements in this regard!

Freedom

The classroom teacher in the office received a new assignment to pose for photos, and she wanted to go into the class and pose for a few photos as she usually does. Usually, she always does this and is not shy about who is in class.

But today she was about to enter the class when she suddenly remembered that this class seems to be the second-level boss, so she quickly retreated, saying: I don't dare to go.

The current state of our education is like this: the hierarchical division of teachers has become quite solid, the size of someone is a BOSS in a school, those "emotional intelligence" of the teachers will be fawning over it, lest in any place to touch its scales.

Of course, this does not prevent the "high intelligence" teachers to say bad things about these bosses behind their backs. A certain teacher immediately said: "This year, this sub-course is taught by the secondary BOSS, our class students said this class is not fun, because the teacher is too aggressive. I even cautioned them, 'Don't look at who the teacher is!'"

A certain teacher also told an anecdote: once in the first period after lunch, a student in their class was pale and went to the office to inform the teacher; thinking it was the student's low blood sugar, she gave the student a lollipop and then told him or her to go back to class and continue the lesson.

Unexpectedly, the Level 2 BOSS did not understand the meaning of this and pulled this lollipop out of the student's mouth and threw it aside.

A certain teacher usually appears as a bully in school, but his bullying is only effective against honest peers, not teachers with "high emotional intelligence".

He found the boss he was attached to and loudly stated the facts: "The sixth-grade teachers all say their class is very good and they all say they are number one!"

I laughed in my heart: his statement was indeed the truth, and that group of people are not easy, when it comes to their interests, they dare to say and swear, and have their own "mountain", they are not afraid of anything.

I also know how such a thing, results will be handled: tied for first - BOSS groups never dare to mess with the "high intelligence" teachers, only unlimited tolerance and praise; they also understand that this is just a job, to promote a group of people, to suppress a group of people is the most important There is no need to defend the rights of the weak.

Addendum

This is a glimpse of the current state of education as I experienced it, and I don't know what to make of it.
