Let's talk about music. How often do you listen to music? I usually listen to music while driving—it really puts me in a great mood. I'm into Afrobeat, hip-hop, and R&B. I also listen to music when I’m working out at the gym.

Is music an important subject in schools in your country? Yes, it is. I’m from India, and music and dance are integral parts of our culture. Schools often teach classical music or include music as part of their curriculum. It’s a big part of expressing emotions through art.

Do you ever go to live concerts? Yes, I’ve been to three concerts featuring my favorite artists, which were on my wish list. The experience was incredible! Live concerts have a unique energy, and the atmosphere is completely different from just listening at home.

Do you prefer reading magazines or newspapers? I definitely prefer magazines, especially about fashion or interior design. I love learning about new trends and creative ideas from around the world. Magazines provide a lot of visual inspiration, and I like picking up terms and names for different fabrics, decor, etc.

Do you think you can learn as much from a magazine as from a book? Definitely not. Magazines offer brief snapshots of information, while books go much deeper into subjects. I prefer books for more comprehensive knowledge.

Will you continue to read paper-based magazines in the future? I’m a bit old-fashioned in that way. I enjoy having a physical book or magazine in hand. There’s something about reading a real book that’s more satisfying than reading digitally.

Do you like outdoor activities? I love being outdoors! I often plan activities or hang out with friends outside, whether we’re doing something or just enjoying the fresh air. I’m not the kind of person who stays indoors for long.

Which outdoor sports do you enjoy? I enjoy playing football with my friends and activities like swimming. I also love going to the beach.

Which outdoor activities are most popular in your country? In India, cricket is extremely popular. It’s common to see kids playing it everywhere. Badminton is also quite popular.

Let’s talk about your favorite actor and actress. My favorite actor is Benedict Cumberbatch, and my favorite actress is Angelina Jolie. I love the action and mystery films they star in, which aligns with my personal interests in mystery and detective stories. Angelina Jolie’s humanitarian work also inspires me—her strength and fierceness are admirable. Benedict’s performance in "Sherlock" was incredible; it felt like I was watching the character come to life from the books. His role as Doctor Strange in the Avengers is another one of my favorites.

What are the most popular types of movies in your country? Action and drama films are popular in India. People also enjoy fictional stories with emotional depth and, of course, comedy is huge in Indian cinema.

Do you think cinema will remain popular in the future? It’s hard to say, but I think people are increasingly enjoying watching movies at home. While cinema isn’t as exciting as it used to be, it still has its place. Streaming services might take over more in the future.

How popular is theater in your country? Theater is more of a family activity now, something parents do with their kids to expose them to different cultural forms. It’s not as popular as cinema or movies in India, which have taken the spotlight. Theater has taken a bit of a backseat.

Should theater be run as a business or as a public service? I think it should be both. It provides jobs for people who love acting but may not make it into films, and it’s also a cultural service to the public. Both aspects can complement each other.

In some countries, the government funds theaters to provide public shows. Is this a good use of public money? It depends. If the shows are free for the public, then it makes sense to fund them. But if people have to pay, then it’s not fair to use public funds. It should be accessible to everyone without extra costs.
