The job of a storm chaser is dangerous and banned in many countries. The risk of underwater welding is more difficult due to pressure, making shore welding preferable. Ship repairs can be costly, especially when the hull requires dry welding that necessitates removing the vessel from the water. There are two types of underwater welding: dry and wet. Dry welding uses a sealed hyperbaric chamber to remove the water and prevent more from entering the spot that needs welding. The process is performed similarly underwater but without access to the chamber. Wet welding in pure water doesn't conduct, but tap/rain/seawater conduct due to minerals and impurities. To ensure safety, gaseous bubbles are released to shield the weld and diver from electric conductivity in water. However, they obstruct visibility, complicating deep-sea welding.
Deep sea fishing includes species such as tuna, swordfish, and Marlin that swim at depths of 100 feet or more, far from the shore. Deep sea fishing is risky due to the larger, faster, and stronger fish and the distance from medical assistance. It's more unpredictable than fishing close to the shore.
Logging workers have a risky and challenging job, supplying materials for industry. People were used to cutting down trees manually, but with machinery now, it remains dangerous due to falling trees and constantly working chainsaws.
People are constantly on alert in case of hazards, while construction workers face danger. Construction workers face difficulties working with heights, heavy equipment, and machinery.
Roofers install, maintain, and repair roofs. They use metal and asphalt materials to waterproof roofs, which puts them at risk due to working at great heights. Professional roof cleaners can take care of cleaning moss and fungus, and there are industrial alpinists who climb buildings to reach difficult places. They maintain building facades, providing cleaning, painting, waterproofing, and other necessary upkeep to safeguard against pollutants and harmful elements.
Farmers face risks daily with heavy machinery and chemicals. Tractors are hard to maneuver and can roll over. Farm equipment is sharp. Chemicals are used for crops and cleaning. Chemicals spread widely, polluting the air. Large animals like cows and horses pose an unpredictable danger.
