When you first read "Highly Sensitive Person" what are your first thoughts on the meaning of this label?

Do you think you have to walk on eggshells? Do you feel like someone is a "sissy", "overly sensitive", "can't take bad news", etc?

You couldn't be further from the truth. Highly sensitive people are very intuitive, can sense the smallest difference, subtle change, feels emotions deeply, crave solitude and need time to reset themselves, have harsh inner critics, and have thoughts that spin on repeat making it difficult to rest or sleep, and the list goes on.

Many Highly Sensitive People find our chaotic, modern world very challenging. You might often feel misunderstood, have high-stress levels and are overwhelmed a lot. -Julie Bjelland
