God still needs more men

By Okoro Amarachi Published about a year ago 3 min read

You might ask, is God still looking for more men to work in His vineyard even when there are so many churches on ground and many ordained men of God? This was a question I struggled with for a very long time even to the point of denying the call of God on my life. I was always on the opinion that God does not need me to crowd the whole vine, Funny right but that was my reality until God Opened my eyes to see something in His word, 1Corinthians 12:12 "you can easily see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. YOUR BODY HAS MANY PARTS- limbs, organs cells- but no matter how many parts you name, you are still one body. Its exactly the same thing with Christ" MSG. I then realize that I was just being fooled by the devil. The devil gave me "good" reasons to think it was right to run away from the duty post God has assigned to me because I felt that we would be too many in the ministry work but that is not true, no matter how many I think we are, the truth is that we are still one and not even still enough to accomplish and do the vast amount of work God wants us to do.

As an economy has different sectors to be covered for the economy to function well so does the work of God have so many areas and sectors to be covered. God has gifted each man with a "TALENT" Matthew 25:14-30, to invest in His ministry and funny enough if you use or do not use it, He is still expecting a gain or profit from you. So why should you and I run from His vineyard for one stupid excuse or the other. My own side of the vineyard would remain uncleared until I step up to the task and God forbid that God raises another to take my stead Acts 1:15-20, " during this time, peter stood up in the company- there were about one hundred twenty of them in the room at the time and he said friends, long ago the Holy Spirt spoke through David regarding Judas, who became the guide to those who arrested Jesus. That scripture had to be fulfilled and now has been. Judas was one of us and had his ASSIGNED PLACE in this ministry. As you know he took the evil bribe money and bought a small Farm. There he came to a bad end, rupturing his belly and spilling his guts. Everybody in Jerusalem knows this by now: they call the place Murder Meadow. It's exactly what we find written in the psalms: Let his farm become haunted so no one can ever live there. And also, what was written later: LET ANOTHER TAKE OVER HIS POST." (MSG). So, we know that we can lose our Place to another.

We sometimes think we are doing God a favor by becoming His ministers, the truth is that He is the one actually doing us a favor, with or without us His purpose and plans still stands, so it is a privilege to be counted as His Vehicle to bring into reality His plans.

You might feel your running away from God's calling on your life is an act of Humility, hmm, lie from the pit of hell, it is Satan's way of making you lose a precious gift of being among those that troubles him. It is pride to ignore your King when He calls you, ask Vashti, Esther 1: 10-20.

You may also feel unfit and unworthy to receive and stand up to the occasion maybe because of your past or what the Devil is telling you about yourself, of how weak you are for the task. Do not focus on that, Focus on God that has called you to strengthen you for the task, you can tell the Devil to go solve the issues on His head, Remind him also of how much time he has to be languishing in the lake of fire forever, remind him that you are the one God has chosen to make sure his agenda against man fails and that you are the one called to trouble him (since the devil loves accusing, accuse him also).

If you still have any other issue why you run from taking up the mandate of God on your life, know that you are just giving unreasonable excuses that holds no water Exodus 3:1-22, 4:1-18. STOP being afraid and step up and with God on your side you would surely conquer.
