Expensive Wineries in Napa valley

The Valley's most expensive wineries are icon of a high-quality winery that produces only a small number of premium wines and has a loyal following. These wineries often sell out their vintages within days, and there are long waiting lists for memberships. These individualities are why high prices are a common feature of the wine.

Napa Valley Wineries is a famous region for beer and wine. We provide the highest quality luxury transportation at reasonable rates. Our service is also top-notch. We offer Napa valley Wine Tours anywhere in Sonoma Valley or Napa Valley.

1. Scarecrow

Scarecrow

It pays tribute to the estate where the premium Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were grown. JJ Cohn was Chief of Production at MGM during Hollywood's 'golden age' and played an essential role in The Wizard of Oz's production.

Scarecrow is a symbol of prideful American agriculture. Only 2,000 bottles are produced per vintage from a single vineyard.

2. Promontory

Promontory

It is one of three wineries that Domain H. William Harlan owns (the other two being Harlan Estate and BOND). The Harlan family purchased the property's 860 acres in 2008 and has kept its ruggedness.

This makes the wine unique and limited, as only 10% of the land is currently under vine. Promontory was the first to release a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend in 2009. It differs from other cult wineries in that it offers a tasting and an allocation of wines.

3. Lithology

Lithology

Their 13-acre Cabernet Sauvignon is the most well-known. It was sourced from the Alejandro Bulgheroni Estate, St. Helena. However, Lithology also produces Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, sourced from the highly sought-after plots of Becks offer Dr Crane Las Piedras and Becks offer To Kalon.

A small block of Sauvignon Blanc was recently added to the Estate, which is sure to become a cult favorite in the coming seasons.

4. Screaming Eagle

Screaming Eagle

It is a label that was regarded as the pioneer of the category in the late 1990s. Jean Phillips founded the brand in 1986.

The Cabernet Sauvignon flagship is blended with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and other grapes. A few bottles may be available for sale, but the winery discourages the resale of its members' wines.

5. Vice Versa Wines

Vice Versa Wines

It was founded in 2003 by Patrice Breton and many of these wines are sold before their bottle. It is an indication of the label's success.

Vice Versa released 13 wines for the 2019 vintage. These included Cabernet Sauvignon, but Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were two other outliers. The total production was 3,020 cases.

It sources grapes from vineyards renowned for their exclusivity, excellence and quality, other than Platt Vineyard and their vineyard.

6. Bella Oaks

Bella Oaks

Only 430 cases of their single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon were made in 2019, Bella Oaks' most recent release. It is located in the Rutherford Bench. The vineyard dates back to around the mid-19th Century.

Suzanne Deal Booth bought the property in 2010 and enlisted the help of some of the most respected people in the business to revive the historic plot while also emphasizing biodynamic practices.

Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media, awarded 100 points to the Estate's 2019 vintage. The Estate was certified organic in 2019.

7. Component wine company

Component wine company

Michael Kennedy, was the founder of this boutique label. His mission was to identify top vineyards throughout the Valley and to focus on the beauty of each "component".

These are grapes that are often blended. Component's 2013 Petit Verdot was the first wine they produced from Napa. Only two barrels were made. They added Cabernet Sauvignon to their portfolio in 2014. The Component currently produces approximately 750 cases.

Final Thoughts:

This is especially true if you have access to these rare wines. No matter what your opinion may be, amazing wineries symbolize Napa Valley.
